I was real lucky to bail out at 0.41 before the news came out that it is going to split from 5 to 1 after some loses

You gotta wonder about how some of these directors think. Share consolidations very rarely work in the NZ market unless you have some excellent news to follow and have ensured that the big buyers are there to support you. Without any big support the share price is in danger of continuing to drift south. All it needs now is the much anticipated cash issue to give it some real turbulance.

Expect it head further south especially with oil prices trending up in the forseeable future. No wonder why Warren Buffett avoids airlines like the plague.

Warren Buffet did actually buy some US Air preference shares a few years ago ... he dumped a few hundred million but learned a valuable lesson !!! The airline business is just a black hole to pour valuable capital into ... never to be seen again !!!
