Carter Holt's long-term trading range looks set to continue for a while longer. Price action has yet again bounced off the resistance level that has held good for 4 years now.

It will be very useful if this chart was produced on the other thread (Cater Holt - stock for 2004) when I asks if Carter Holt was good to short when it goes up to $2.10.

Instead nobody says anything until the price is fallen back to $1.92. Instead a lot of people comes out after share price is fallen to write it was going to fall back. It is no good to anyone when share price has fallen back to say anything.

As it is said- the goat has left the vegetable garden.

Maybe the info is a bit late (this time round) - but hey - at least now we have it, and I think even my "sharemarket cynical" partner had to agree there appeared to be a good trading possibility of buy $1.60, sell $1.90 on this stock when I showed her Phaedrus Graph. - close to 20% each time the share is effectivley traded at the proposed toggle prices.(Fundamentals aside that is.)
Keep up the good work Phaedrus

best regards

Minder - armed with this new information - perhaps you would be prepared to "double up" next time :-)

It is good chart and it is a must to thank Mr Phaedrus (what this name meaning?).

It is just very meaningless for so many others to come out and say Carter Holt share price falling back was no surprise when they be so no noise or say anything when price was at good level to short.

I takes notes and put in excel sheet posters who give opinions before price moves and those giving no help writings after price has moved. This I hope will to help make good investments.

Good approach Minder - much of what is read/said on this type of forum has to be taken with a grain of salt, and form only a part of your own research.

I think there is an age old adage to the effect that, for someone to make a sale, someone has to make a purchase - these transactions must take place for entirely different reasons - hindsight is a wonderful mechanism to decide who was right.

Best regards and happy investing !
