Equity Trustees (EQT)

>>>....and Aunty Madge(2nd Cousin removed) says: Equity Trustees... YUM...Looking at the friendly Take-Over/Allaince... (and support thus shown by ANZ Bank)...by Equity Trustees of division of Anz Trustees...announced, snuck in, & ONLY just half hour before ASX closing: EQT Announcement...12/10/04 [:p][:p]...still a lot of Investors )for now) may have, hopefully; so far missed this one-with Equity Trustees...(EQT ););)...

and look at the excellent Equity Trustees Turnaround achieved by their CEO Peter Williams; over last 18 mths....with good runs on board...

and collating Equity Trustees fundamentals and LONG LONG Solid Historical trading history (100 years plus ???!!)...which looks v.good and Equity Trustees timely exposure to & with ageing Baby Boomer demographics which is in synch with the needs and strong/ever growing demand suiting this Trustees Industry

and limited Polayers in this Growth Market--dominated by about 4our or five including Equity Trustees I think....

...and size does Matter in this Trustee game....look at the size and recent V.good performance of Permanent Trustees, and Perpetual Trustees...to get good economies of scale and Profits of Revenue/income Flow off the same essential capital/cost base...

....and following in the amazingly good present run of Hunter Hall--HHL(more to go...IMO) and Treasure Group(TRG), Allaince Finance Group(AFG), Credit Corp(CCP) in this Diversified Financial Sector...

.... me and Madge are of one view...that this is a thin but good Window of Opportunity to jump in....although shares might be as "scarce as hens teeth!!..."---and the Value will be short lived if building and one sided depth on the BUY side, is anything to go by......;)[:p]:)

Have a good day and kindest regards,

Robbo.

Equity Trustees...(EQT)

In the interests of accuracy...the announcement acrually described the Deal between ANZ Banking group and Equity Trustess---as a MERGER--rather than as friendly takeover/alliance...which is how Madge originally described it...

Honestly and goodness to Betsie...\\, with a crownie in one hand and a keyboard below the other---by the way,...how does beer mix with keyboards...?? , Madgies' fingers were typing at a hundred miles an hour...bec. speed & getting in a bit early, is going to be, a bit of of the essence on this one---IMO..;):)

Madge also yelled out to remark that ....already, in just the first hour of trading there was 1/4(one quarter)million dollars going through, and the Price was up 6% on the Open, :)[:p]:)...ON a day when the overall market was a few points Down !!.[^]...and since my last Equity Trustees Post...EQT was up...yet another couple of percentages points and the Depth was STILL really building; only on the BUY side.... when I last had a quick little peek....[8D]

Robbo Predicts 25-27% quite Conservatively... on Equity Trustees ia a reasonable and safe & likely share price Increase over the next fortnight...if the other share price rises LIKE on the other similar stocks listed in Equity Trustees(EQT)...previous post; are anything to go by as a guide...but I feel the Instos will jump at this quite strongly bec. of ANZ having 33% plus(I think)of the share current ownership... already for the Equity Trustees(EQT)register.... and will probably push the EQT share price significantly . higher...and obviously once the psychological$10.00 barrier is broken, which could realistically happen any hour...then north of $12.00, would be my first Target...

Kindest regards,
Robbo.:):)

...So Not to just take Robbo's thoughts and views/opinions on all things pertaining to Equity Trustees..., or for that matter, Aunty Madge's words on these things:[8D]

Some different, and perhaps more objective perspectives on EQT....

while perusing the Australian Financial Review, today, 13/10/04....: Madge noticed on page 55:
the following:

by Financial Services, AFR journalist: Mr Chris Wright

Muscle for Equity Trustees

ANZ Banking Group has signed a heads of agreement to
sell its trustee business to Equity Trustees, in a deal that will also involve' it(ANZ) taking a major stake in the Melbourne-based funds management and private client company.(EQT)

The merged business will be the third largest trustee
company in the country......

with $2.5 Billion dollars in assets.....

AND; again another view........Mr Harvey Kalman, Chief Investment Officer,of Equity Trustees, was quoted as saying: "This is fantastic for us"...."This gives us the opportunity to grow revenues, to make us into a proper small company: we can increase our market cap, get onto peoples radar screens for investments, and it preserves two fantastic Brands/Names in the market."[:p]:)

Equity Trustees was founded 116 years ago......

and for yet another perspective:

Mr Paul Edwards, spokesperson for ANZ said: "It's an issue of that business(Equity Trustees)...needing to achieve some level of scale....[i]The advantage of combining the two, is that it's a better business now, than it was as a seperate area within ANZ."

Guys, .....I just thought I'd quote these three seperate people's views/thoughts on the Equity Trustees current investmnt opportunity in the Name of providing some different perspectives and providing some nice balance, to this coverage of EQT...for & to the benefit of all Sharetraders out there.... :)

kindest regards as always :)

Equtity Trustees (EQT)

With The ASX down 16 to 17 points

and shares on offer in EQT down a point from the extremely strong rally yeaterday...(retracement IMO) was much less than was anticipated..only approx #1.2%...after gains of approx 12-13% yesterday:....

Could...(IMO)...go for another upward run either Late this arvo...or in the morn tomorrow...(IMO)...

Insto's like the big whacks of $25-$50K a slice,,,and those slices not there at presnt...so might be a opoortunity presenitng....:)[:p][?]

Watching EQT with great interest...

Kind regards,
Robbo.:)
