Johna calls it theft .... but it is a worry when you hear stories like those of madmike. From the WHS thread - bought 3 items at snells beach today.....only got charged for 2....nice $20 discount.....thank you mr inger.....didn't say anything as the shares owe me more than that...not the first time their pricing system has been incorrect ie wrong prices on products....oh no ......not another stock system problem!!!???...share price drop ahead!!!!????

One of the girls at work 'scored' like madmike when not charged for a $22 item in Petone the other day,

That's 2 cases recently that will have screwed up WHS stock records.

Is this a common event?

Have any of you 'scored' (or stolen aas johna put it) something for free at the WHS lately?

Interested to know

How many remember what happened when years ago WHS owned up to computer problems and not knowing what their real stock/margin position was - big collapse in the shareprice.

One positive for WHS - hard to get that money back guarantee when you haven't paid in the first place

gezz guys...i put the 3 items on the counter...the assistant swiped the articles across the scanner....the beep machine made 3...yes 3 beeps, but only 2 items appeared on the tilltape

what more do you have to do to pay for an item...throw down ya wallet and say take as much as ya want!!!

this is either a barcode recognition problem or the stock item hasn't been loaded into the computer.....each way its a stock control problem...and if its widespread...well...i dont have to point the ramifications out to ya all.....and then again some (only some not all) of you need a baseball bat to get a simple message/joke thru to you!!!???

i went in last week and got one very small item(a garden hose fitting)on the price ticket it had a bold price of 99c,the assistant scanned it and said that will be $1.40,i was dumbfounded as the price ticket was bigger than the item(in size),i paid $1.40 as i think they need the extra money

I "score" quite often at the Warehouse. By that I mean probably 2-3 times per year or half the time I go there. Often the scanner will display a price lower than that is quoted.
