Hi folks,

Here's a very small oil producer, with two more
wells scheduled for 2004.

Their Utopia field in lease ATP560P is located
adjacent to oil production facilities held by
BPT and STO, in the Eromanga Basin in
SW Queensland.

Recent finds by DLS at Talgeberry-8 and
Mulberry-1 lie immediately west of AZL's
Utopia field.

Recently, AZL have cashed in other assets
to focus on increasing their oil production,
from ATP560P, which is probably the largest
lease in Eromanga Basin.

Though they may need to rattle the tin for
enough money to cover the next two wells,
this minnow will be one to watch .....

All but one of original board resigned/sacked.

Ex-politician remains at the helm .....

Could easily be a capital raising soon for AZL.

Let's hope the new board can get focused
on their job of getting more oil production.

They have an extensive lease in a prime
address in Qld, but need to explore
its potential further .....

This one is on a short leash now.

and a new farm-in to US leases has fired up
traders, who are already taking positions in
this Aussie minnow.

Volume up today ..... still less than 400m on
issue, after placement.

AZL price sitting on 3 very tightly
bound MAs 29-59-89, making it look
like the market is waiting on imminent
news.

..... definitely one for the watchlist.

This one could be a significant turn-around
over coming months, with new management and
new wells ahead in California, with another
Aussie oiler, OPL ......
