I cannot seem to find this information although I notice many people here refer to the number of sellers lined up for a stock. How do you see it? Is this subscription info?
The NZX charges for this information so it is not freely available. However if you have accounts with online brokers eg Direct Broking or ASB Securites you can get it from their sites. Direct only make it available if you have made a transaction within the last three months, ASB do not have any restriction. I don't know what policies the other brokers have.

ASB Securities depth tables state the numbers of buyers and sellers for Australian shares but not for NZ shares
I am not sure why , but expect it is from what is supplied to them by the ASX and NZX

National Bank's online service also offers it, but displays the full depth plus up to 20 trades, whereas ASB offers 5 of each.

National bank also has 'market depth' for the ASX and is the only site I have found where this info is readily available. It is a good site with other features such as advanced charting (which is pretty basic really) but the site is quite slow and you must be a customer to harness all of its features. You can set up watch lists and the like and get real time info on sp's. There is a trial prtfolio for non NBNZ customers but all the juicy features are not available to these people. Sometimes placing an order live to market can take up to an hour which can be frustrating. I use a combonation of this site, stockness and incredible charts to name a few. Cheers.

Whenever I use NBNZ I find it quick [much quicker than Access was].
I get a return email within minutes to say my order was placed, and when the order goes through the money is put into/ or taken out of my account immediately.
The market depth is good, but I would like them to provide market news and announcements.
Having said all that, I notice today that there is nothing from the ASX, neither prices nor depth at NBNZ.

Often within minutes but I have experienced it taking over an hour as well. I noticed the ASX was down today too. I call them on 0800 226898 and hassle them. If they fluff around too long I call FNZC directly and tell them. It can be frustrating when you want to see info and its not available. It can cost you your cream.
