It's been asked before, but how do you post a chart?

to insert an image you need to use the "Insert Image" tags (one of the buttons available when you reply to post).

The problem with sharetrader is that they don't host the images. You need to find a third party website that will host them for you. I understand you put a web link between the tags. Do a search under google for "free image host" or words to that affect and follow you nose to find a free site.

Others who post here regularly might be able to steer you to a good site. I haven't posted images in the past.

cheers for that. I have a few charts that are starting to become interesting. I wil attempt to post a few some time soon.

So far I think the most promising stocks for the year that have already done well are TTR,TTT,ATR.... and of course I still rate MPI,RAC as having potential. MPI has promising fundamentals and on a technical analysis also looks interesting.

With so many resource stocks in the competition I would imagine we will be in for a bumpy ride.

Interesting to also see that quite a few punters are below the random 5 pick and the sharetrader average is below the index. The results are also normally distributed, as one would expect. Hopefully, our average will start to improve better than the index.

A few more interesting results so far....

The popularity of a stock is slightly negatively correlated to its return. i.e. the more times it has been picked the worse it has performed. I think this will become more prominent during the course of the year and leads me to conclude that "don't believe all the hype".

the rankings of 2003 are positevly correlated to the 2004 results. i.e. people who picked winners last year are more inclined to pick them this year. In other words, a successfull picking strategy in one year is likely to be successfull the next.
