Listed on 5 Dec. Current price: 31 cents.
There are 39.3 mill shares and 9.5 mill 30 Nov. 2006 vendor options. (21.4 mill new shares were created raising $4.3 mill. before costs).
14.7 mill shares will be in escrow for 2 years, 3.1 mill in escrow for 1 year.

Note: The Prospectus is on the AAM website and needs to be read to get a good impression of the Projects. Extracts below are from this Prospectus:

1. The Bright Star Gold Project.
"The BrightStar Project covers approximately 30km2 and is located within the Burtville Domain on the eastern margin of the Laverton Tectonic Zone. The Laverton Tectonic Zone is now recognised as
one of extremely high gold endowment and produced nearly 9 million ounces (Moz) of gold to 2002 from a total resource base of nearly 25 million ounces".

The BrightStar Gold Project is the primary focus for the Company and the project which most of the funds raised pursuant to this Prospectus will be committed. The project consists of a granted exploration licence (E38/970), a mining lease application over the BrightStar Discovery Zone (MLA 38/968) and two exploration licence applications along strike to the northwest (ELA38/1517) and southeast (ELA38/1523).

The aim is to build on recent exploration success by further exploration and development thereby moving BrightStar to production within a relatively short time frame.
BRIGHT STAR--Gold Intercept--- From Depth

5m @ 9.97g/t Au-- from depth: 59m
7m @ 7.09g/t Au---- 35m
7m @ 7.65g/t Au---- 45m
12m @ 47.66g/t Au (uncut)----- 52m
10m @ 5.65g/t---- Au 13m
5m @ 4.27g/t Au--- 91m
8m @ 4.42g/t Au--36 m

"Drilling to date supports the interpretation of mineralisation comprised of a thick zone of stacked shoots plunging at a low angle to the northwest. Most intercepts occur in soft weathered rock associated with a mineralised shoot plunging gently northwards. Best grades occur close to surface and a low water table below 80m depth bodes well for accessibility via open pit mining.

Gold mineralisation remains open up and down dip and along strike in both directions.(Figure2). Exploration undertaken by A1 suggests the BrightStar discovery zone represents a portion of a regionally significant gold mineralised system highlighted by surface and shallow drill geochemistry anomalies over 10km of strike within the project area. However, to date only 500m of mineralisation has been adequately tested resulting in the intercepts set out above".

Due to the recent multi-million ounce discoveries the Company believes the Laverton area should continue to show potential for more. The BrightStar shallow dip and stacked lodes (Figure 3) are similar in nature to the geological settings at recent large discoveries in the district. With only a very small area of the 10km of gold anomalies at BrightStar tested to date, the Company is optimistic that further exploration success will follow.

During 2004, continuous phases of drilling (including RAB drilling for testing targets and outlining shallow mineralisation and RC drilling to define and measure resources) are planned to be undertaken. In 2005, it is the Directors intention to finalise resource definition and to carry out pre-feasibility studies".

The Manager,
Company Announcements
Australian Stock Exchange

"A1 COMMITS TO 20,000 METRE DRILL PROGRAM FOLLOWING ROBUST RESULTS AT ITS BRIGHTSTAR GOLD PROJECT.

Listed explorer A1 Minerals Limited (ASX:AMM) has brought forward to early February its planned
20,000 metre RAB/Aircore drill program on the basis of initial results from its extensive vacuum geochem drilling of its 100% owned BrightStar Gold Project.

The ongoing vacuum geochem drilling over the 10 kilometre by 2 kilometre BrightStar anomalous
trend is on schedule and the first results are showing robust, greater than 60ppb gold, soil anomalism beyond, and contiguous with, the BrightStar Discovery Zone.

These results are comparable to the surface anomalism above the following previously published gold intercepts at the initial BrightStar Discovery Zone:

12m @ 47.66g/t(uncut), 10m @ 5.65g/t, 7m @ 7.09g/t , 8m @ 4.42g/t, 5m @ 4.27g/t, 5m @ 9.97g/t, and 7m @ 7.65g/t.

The anomalism indicates potential for near-surface gold resources extending northwards from the BrightStar Discovery Zone and also parallel to it.

This is an important step in the Company’s program to confirm the presence of a large gold system within this large geochemical ‘footprint’, and gives further encouragement that AI has discovered a large shallow-dipping multiple stacked gold resource, similar in style to nearby 7 million ounce discoveries at Sunrise/Cleo and Wallaby/Just in Case.

Although only 40% of the planned vacuum drilling program has been completed, the extremely encouraging results to date have enabled the Company to bring forward to early February its 20,000 metre RAB/Aircore drill program designed to test the anomalies.

Drilling is expected to commence in the first week of February. Directors expect to report more results to shareholders, from the vacuum program at the end of February.

Yours faithfully,
John Williams
Managing Director
Information in this ASX announcement relating to geological data has been compiled by Mr John Williams, a Member of the AusIMM, who has more than 5 years experience in the field of activity being reported".

"Vacuum drilling program commenced and continues over the promising
10km X 2km ‘geochem footprint’ on the BrightStar Gold Project.
• Preliminary metallurgical test work as part of ongoing scoping studies of the BrightStar Discovery Zone, indicates excellent recoveries and low reagent
consumption.
• Company on track in its exploration program to confirm the presence of a large gold system capable of hosting a major gold resource similar in style to
the nearby Sunrise/Cleo and Wallaby/Just in case.

Only 500m (the BrightStar Discovery Zone) of a 10km long series of gold geochemical anomalies has been adequately tested with encouraging results including 5m grading 9.97gpt Au, 7m grading 7.09gpt Au, 7m grading 7.65gpt Au, 12m grading 47.66gpt
Au and 5m grading 5.65gpt Au.

All high-grade intercepts at the BrightStar Discovery
Zone have been intercepted in oxidised bedrock at shallow depths providing the potential for an open pit mining scenario.

Vacuum drilling over the 10 kilometre by 2 kilometre BrightStar anomalous zone commenced immediately after listing on the ASX and continues on schedule.

As results flow in from this program they will be interpreted by the Company’s geologists.

High grade soil anomalism interpreted by our geologists will then be drill tested using RAB and Aircore. When these drilling programs are complete they should
indicate the potential for near surface gold resources and provide more information on the size of the BrightStar Gold Discovery.

Directors expect to report results to shareholders, from the completed vacuum program at the end of February".

Shareprice: 85 cents and buyers have been keeping up the pressure.

Vacuum drilling over the 10 kilometre by 2 kilometre BrightStar anomalous zone commenced immediately after listing on the ASX and has been completed according to a well informed source.

They will now be making final assays and the results will be known before the end of the month.

I love the "gerry factor" on this stock in particular...look at the chart for this one. See the date posted Feb 19th...during Peak Gerry Hunting Season. And what do you know!! The price then has reached its peak and begins its steady downfall.
A true piece of art, Emerald.

Are those buyers still keeping up pressure? LOL.

You are a great commentator, a non achiever and a stalker. Had you studied the gold price cycle then you would have known that the gold price was around $425 much earlier in the year and that many gold
stocks declined by one third or more since.

One has to be exceptionally ignorant not to have spotted that. But then again, igmnorance, stupidity and thuggery have encroached this Aussie site:

Agree that Gerry... has... made a Very Good Call with AAM

On this thread I have also said that I support this call on AAM before ...

Indeed I have been quietly accumulating this one for about a month...
but, at this stage ....would not put the house on it....

Kind Regards,

The SP has halved in the four years since someone last posted :)

Read the AGM announcement of this morning, there's one hell of a lot of shares about to be given away at half price (insto's ok, but directors?)!

Trackers,
I initially thought the same, but the next issue will be at >80% of the average for the previous 5 trading days.
The fact that the sp has halved over the years... well, my whole protfolio, and not only my holding in AAM, has suffered more than 50% decrease at certain stage, due to the reasons known to all who read newspapers or, even, have money in a super fund. Things are looking much better now, including my holding in AAM. AAM is nearing production and its fundamentals were never stronger. The chart indicates that there may be some short term weakness in the sp, but, noting the market cap of this stock, this can change with a single announcement or someone waking up to the stock.
Cheers,
Dratoz
