Apologies first.I seldom follow this forum.Last yr I bought BHP.Since then I have "heard" that this company functions like a "government dept stuck in the old days".....should I buy ORG.....

Very briefly, from the valuation model I use BHP gives RV13.89 whilst ORG give RV16.6,satisfactory for this size of company,so very litle difference, then considering BHP has a market cap about 15 times that of ORG,it would appear to be doing quite well even if it is stuck "in the old days".For myself I hold both, with ORG having performed the best recently.

Thanks Oldrider....I should explain,my contact was a bloke (an accountant from the coast) who worked for BHP.He is still chuckling. He was paid $150000 pa and did in his views "F.... All" i.e. produce reports that were merely "very ordinary" to please a bunch of old style beaurocrats that really weren't interested ...I should also mention that I have a mate who works for Telstra in ChCh.....whenever they have a "disruption in services" originating from Oz and they attempt a resolution from Oz, there response is somewhat tardy to say the least ???? (they dont give a ****...)
