Hi guys,

Has anyone else got a letter titled "ASB streamlined its fee structure"???

ASB is basically saying majority of its customers only trade in the amount of around $9,000 so the fee increase will only be about $0.55. How many people actually trade with only $9,000?

My average trade amount has been well above that and that means the percent fees increase would be quite significant?

Very disappointed that investing is actually getting more expensive. Looking abroad, fee is trending down because of competition.

People who feel the same, let join together and find a way to let ASB know our resentment [8D]

This is being discussed in the off topic section.

Note: As I am a buy and hold, most of my investments are in the $8-10 range and I am still working on a well diversified portfolio (ie 20+ stocks). I can see how this would be different with traders where you move a greater % of your money in and out.
