Is anyone using the IconFX-auto software and the associated FX Trading Station II platform.?
If so how are you finding it?
How are you finding the backup support?

Thanks[?]

I dont personally use FXCM but you may like do do a Google check regarding your query.
I also spotted this on Elite, - not sure if it might be of interest

Hi Arco,

Thanks for the link, probably giving you all a bum steer.

The correct website for the software concerned is http://www.itsignal.com

Has a NZ 0800 number etc, but not much response.:(

Hi Aurelian,
i use the same guys as Miner fxcm.
i had a quick look at itsignal site
they claim their system isnt black box because they are updating it frequently but i would argue that unless you knew what was being programmed into the system it is a black box.

i didnt find mentioned how the system has performed in the past, nor whether it is a trend following system, momentum based ,break out trade etc.If somebody does stumble across a brilliant signalling system, they wouldnt be selling it but trading it to the max.
personally i am just a little sceptical of any package that tells you when to buy and sell without knowing why, my first charting package was a black box system so i am a bit cautious of anything outside of a tool box,but perhaps you already have charting software.

A pain in the butt with fxcm is when as it has been doing since about 7pm the charts don't keep up with the dealer rates:([xx(][V],something to watch for as have been caught out in the past by trading a chart that is wrong.

Hi Miner

Are you using the Charts from their platform, or the FX power chart?
I have problems with the platform ones, but I can send you a fix if you use them;)

I had the opposite problem a year or so ago, where the Platform was behind the charts by about 45 seconds. Lasted about 30 minutes. Needless to say I was scalping pips everywhere:D:D
