It wouldn't have any effect on USD at all IMO. It would just mean there would be only 2 major currencies~ which is what the bloated bureaucraps want- a macro-economic power to rival the US.

I don't think the euro will last long term.It's just the Bundesbank peg really, and no pegging works. It didn't work for the Holy Roman Empire and it won't work now.
