Whatever has become of CER and the announcement due in the first quarter of this year, then the first few weeks of March. Have the directors succumbed to the powers of Organic Interceptor?

Finally some news.......only need $4+:(
GENERAL: CER: First Order For NZ Herbicide To Kill World's Worst Weed
Statement made by David Warrick, Managing Director,
Certified Organics Limited
The South Australian State Government has given the go-ahead to a new product
developed by Certified Organics to eliminate the world's most destructive
weed, branched broomrape, which is contaminating large tracts of the State's
dry country farmland.
The State Government has placed an initial order with Certified Organics for
its Interceptor(TM) Seed Eradicator, specially formulated to kill seeds lying
dormant within soil. The initial package is worth some $0.25million to the
company.
This initial order will allow for the full field testing of this exciting new
product. If this large scale testing of application methods is successful,
the project could be worth many millions of dollars in revenue a year to
Certified Organics for the next 10 to 15 years.
This new product represents a major commercial breakthrough for the company.
To date, we have been building sales of our pine based weed killer in New
Zealand, and have made limited sales to Australia and some Asian countries,
while we work our way through the process of obtaining the necessary
regulatory consents to sell our products in our key overseas markets.
The South Australian State Government has commissioned a programme that over
the next two months will see our Seed Eradicator sprayed over a trial site of
contaminated farmland. This programme follows 18 months of laboratory and
small scale field trials conducted by the University of South Australia in
Adelaide that have demonstrated the killing power of our specially-developed
pine extract.
Some 2000 sq kilometres of South Australia (an area similar in size to
Stewart Island) is believed to be under threat to broomrape. The weed
survives by living off and eventually killing host plants and it makes
contaminated areas unusable for many forms of arable farming and pastoral
farming.
Seeds can lie dormant in the soil for up to 15 years, and substantial areas
of infestation have been quarantined to stop the spread of the weed. Sales of
crops grown in affected areas are severely restricted.
The hard outer shells of broomrape seeds have proved resistant to the actions
of other herbicides.
The alternative to Interceptor(TM) Seed Eradicator is the gas methyl bromide.
Extremely hazardous, toxic to all forms of animal life, methyl bromide is
also an ozone depleting gas which is progressively being banned worldwide.
As well as being effective, Interceptor(TM) Seed Eradicator is made from
natural ingredients. It is benign on the environment and has organic
certification.
The State Government is committed to eliminating broomrape, and it is
estimated that a 15 year spraying programme will be necessary to achieve
this. Large scale treatment is likely to commence in the autumn of 2005
Broomrape is a worldwide problem and is estimated to cause damage valued at
billions of dollars in America, Europe and Asia.

I would not be so down in the mouth Ari. A new product to the market which has undergone 18 months of trials and the very first sale is $0.25 million not to be sneezed at. Interesting also they have employed Network PR so we might see some positive postings for a change.

to do list:
-do some research and calculations to ascertain at what profit level would CER become a fundamentally (analysis speaking) viable investment... or an intelligent investment...

Somehow I think it will take a little longer than 2 months.....
I once had 1,048,500 of these suckers ( so I could say I had over 1m shares in a company) before they got the split.
Might get there one day.....or as they say at SLG 'boats will fly':D

Where do you get your information SUP I have just had a look at changes in substantial securities during the year and can only find one sale by a director of a million shares to a family member. Does that constitute a sell down? The only gripe is the placements at .06 cents for the lucky ones, although they have been near that on market during the year. What a return.

David Warricks response to your humble opinion Whatsup and I quote "absolute bollocks." He was surprised that there is so much illinformed comments regarding CER on Sharetrader as he seldom gets any enquiries from shareholders or the public in general. I assume though he does have a right of response.

Wow! Reads almost as good as the organic soap shipped to Australia - finally we might have a company that is capable of hoodwinking the Aussies with products they don't need! :D
Now, let's wonder why the vendors continue to sell down .....? Could it be that they want all New Zealanders to share in their fortune?

You have to laugh at how naive investors are to swallow the bs from CER hook, line and sinker - all to help the vendors out.

A company that has to keep raising money to keep going - but has money to pay a PR firm to put the spin out there! For what? So that the vendors can continue to sell out - this time 3.56% or 2 million shares.[xx(]
Good one - David Warrick! Why would a micky mouse company like CER need a PR firm?;)

YES its reassuring to know that there are still some philanthropists out there.
The last cash issue at 6 cents, and what a trading range on market.
Nice, its not often you get returns with blue chips like those of CER.
OH [:0] Bollocks. David assured me two weeks ago the annual report was in the post, last Friday still had not arrived gave him another call and still nothing. There will probably be a cash issue to raise funds for postage.
Concerned, I was out and at a good profit.
Many thanks to zyreon for his recommendation.

Tell David Warrick to shut up and show us the money !
When CER starts making some real profits, then he cal start talking. Till then, dont worry about this site, just worry about the company.

You only have to read the recent interview to know that this is a company struggling to survive.Get out now before further dilution takes place.
Interesting day at Field Day yesterday. In particular one stand with a product called Organic Terminator. I questioned the chap re the play on Organic Interceptor name even with the same style of lable...his reply was yes it is, and the product base comes from the same family....pine extract!
He also mentioned that if these products are fully succesfull in finding a solution in killing dormant seeds eg broomrape, it would pay to have some shares......it'll be HUGE!

I have nightmares about the days of AQL when the promoters pushed the underwater world in China, saying how big it is and it was big. If you look at the numbers that go into the Chinese zoo you will come to a high valuation for the underwater world. The only questions was, where did all the money go? How can you not make money from a pot of gold?
The moral of the story here is, can you rely and trust the management? Abit like RMG, where it fails BCA succeeds.
disc: Willy lost a fair bit in AQL.. DOG !
quote:Willy lost a fair bit in AQL.. DOG !
wish I knew more then....lost $90k+. Took alot of work to recoup that wee investment!

Here's your answer, easy money, why CER is what it is - a one way ticket to the vendors and company growing fat whilst you go poor.
