About itX Group Limited
History
itX was formed in 1991 as i.t.connXions to provide value-added distribution to the Australian Reseller Channel.
As part of the ALSTOM group, i.t.connXions was floated globally in 1998, and as a result of this, was renamed to ALSTOM IT.
Then in October 2004, after many successful years in the ALSTOM group, ALSTOM IT became a wholly Australian owned and operated company after a management buy-out.
In November 2005, the company reverted back to a derivative of its founding name and became itX Group Limited.
Position statement
To be regarded as one of Australia’s leading value-add Distributors of IT products, by offering high level pre-sales technical support and effective Account Management in conjunction with leading edge technologies to the enterprise market.
Sun Microsystems
itX is the sole Authorised Distribution Centre for Sun Microsystems in Australia. The Distribution Centre provides an extensive range of channel distribution services for Sun Microsystems catering for the entire product range, Enterprise Services and Sun Education.
Credit facilities
itX focuses on tailoring specific financial solutions for each Client, and will endeavor to help our business partners maximise their cashflow through innovative use of credit terms and facilities.
