Hi

I've found an overseas alert service to use so that a text message is sent to my mobile phone when a price is hit. Only problem is I can't make it work.

The alert service requests the format for the mobile to be 1122334455@???.???.?? (i.e. an email address with mobile at the beginning). I tried using @telecom.co.nz (I have a Telecom mobile) but that didn't work. I rang Telecom who told me to try @sms.net.nz and that didn't work. If tried ringing some other communications firms and they didn't have a clue.

Does anyone reading this forum receive currency price alerts on their mobile? If so, please what do I do to get this service working?????

Thanks

Might be easier on would be helpers if you provided a link to the source website.

The larger CFD providers and their ilk tend to have built in SMS functionality if that is any assistance?

The service is the one provided by MG Forex. If you try to set up, you can see what they require for an alert to a mobile.
