Hey Yogi, this post was cut and pasted off HC, and written by you.
I am approaching this topic in a calm manner and come in peace.
Below I have attached a few simple questions for you.
cheers, shrewdy
:)
Hi Mark,
"1. A short summary of the general theory behind your predictions."
... just google W D Gann and Sepharial and you will
find mountains of information, about astroanalysis of
the markets.
"2. Another short summary of how those theories have been applied to MEO to arrive at your conclusions."
Simply, by using the God-given, natural cycles of planetary
movements, we can anticipate, where market sentiment may
change towards any particular stock.
All planetary movements in our solar system have been
CONSTANT for millions of years, so they can be calculated
ahead into eternity, though for our purposes a current
ephemeris to 2050 will serve our needs, adequately.
At about $40.oo, an ephemeris is an inexpensive trading
tool, that will last about 7 years, even with rough use.
Astroanalysis is not meant to be used as a stand-alone
trading tool ..... instead, it should be used, as an
independent and complementary tool, to confirm our
regular TA, as it also provides additional information
along the time axis of our charts, that analysis of
the price axis can NEVER provide.
have a great day
paul

Yogi,
1) Do you read annual reports, crunch numbers, predict revenue streams?
2) Do you currently own any OMI? I see you are an avid fan of the stock...
3) Does a 'Solar eclipse' Have any meaning connected to trading shares?
4) Do you know when the next Solar Eclipse will be seen in NZ?
...
thanks Paul, lets keep this constructive....

Hi sc,
Thanks for your questions:
1) Do you read annual reports, crunch numbers, predict revenue streams?
Reports ... only oilers and "situation stocks", that are currently involved
in events likely to make the markets move ... particularly, if the
event is unfolding with our pre-determined time cycles.
Oilers present such situations, every time a new well goes down.
Numbers ... Gann's astroanalysis is all about numbers, most of them
never found in company reports ... reports, which are
dealing mostly with historical data.
Revenue ... nope ... and who cares? Price of any stock is only a
reflection of market sentiment, at that time ... for traders,
foreknowledge of MARKET SENTIMENT in any stock is far
more important, than any predicted revenues .....
.....so, predicting revenues is a waste of valuable resources,
as it does not deal with the KNOWN FACTS, that address
market sentiment and therefore price.
-----
2) Do you currently own any OMI? I see you are an avid fan of the stock.
No ... not a fan really ... OMI is just another stock to be analyzed and
right now it is looking weaker than expected ... will just monitor it, until
our TA and time cycles confirm each other for an entry.
-----
3) Does a 'Solar eclipse' Have any meaning connected to trading shares?
Only for stocks, triggered by that event ... for instance on 07022008,
the next eclipse should be positive for stocks, like:
Before eclipse ... 04-06022008: AIO - CAV - CSW - MUN
Eclipse 07022008: CAP
After eclipse ... 08022008: ARQ and CAQ
-----
4) Do you know when the next Solar Eclipse will be seen in NZ?
" Partial Solar Eclipse, 7th February 2008
Submitted: Tuesday, 27th November 2007 by Mike Salway
The Partial Solar Eclipse on February 7th 2008 will be visible from parts of South-Eastern
Australia and all of New Zealand. The Annular Solar Eclipse is visible only in Antartica.
It will not be visible at all for the rest of Australia or the world."

Yogi,
I am concerned that your astro-numerical-system is predicated on constancy of the celestial orbits ....
What about galactic chaos theory ?
I'm also concerned that your methods may be interrupted by the next singularity event.
Your thoughts appreciated.

Abstract
We construct and compare two different self-consistent N-body equilibrium configurations of galactic models. The two systems have their origin in cosmological initial conditions selected so that the radial orbit instability appears in one model and gives an E5 type elliptical galaxy, but not in the other that gives an E1 type. We examine their phase spaces using uniformly distributed orbits of test particles in the resulting potential and compare with the distribution of the orbits of the real particles in the two systems. The main types of orbits in both cases are box, tube and chaotic orbits. One main conclusion is that the orbits of the test particles in the 3-dimensional potential are foliated in a way quite close to the foliation of invariant tori in a 2-dimensional potential. The real particles describe orbits having similar foliation. However, their distribution is far from being uniform. The difference between the two models of equilibrium is realized mainly by different balances of the populations of real particles in box and tube orbits.

Yogi,
Your last update on AZZ called for it to be "booming in February 2009". Posters on other sites are calling this a typo, saying it should be 2008. Any comment?
With JHF1 going through fraccing at the moment, 2008 may be right.

AZZ ..... "booming in February 2009" is correct Serpie.
However, it would not be surprising to see some positive
news from AZZ, with 2 cycles between 15-25022008,
then a difficult cycle, around 27-2802008.

Eclipse 07022008: CAP
After eclipse ... 08022008: ARQ and CAQ
4th Feb - 6th Feb, before the eclipse
AIO-4th-6th...opened on the 4th at $5.88 closed on the 6th at $5.80...
low in that period $5.67
CAV - closed on the 1st at 54c...
closed on the 4th at 50c.... closed on the 6th at 46c.... low in that period 45c....
CSW - No change in the period...
MUN - opened on the 4th at 81c...
75c closing price... closed 6th at 78c... but did close on the 1st of Feb at 77c so up 1 cent...
7th of Feb, Solar Eclipse day
CAP - down 7.69%, still continuing a long term downtrend not broken... today down big....
8th of Feb, aftermath
ARQ - up 2.61%....
I will give this one to Yogi, because all the other days around it were down days...

Yogi,
Im not playing with you Here... Last night I looked up in the sky and saw something I've never seen before... I showed 4 people they were all amazed...
In front of the Moon but at The height of Clowds was a perfect Circle...
I couldnot tell if it was actual clowds or some sort of light, but it was there...
I measured with my eyes and the Circles radius was 15 times the size of the Diameter of the Moon... Im figuring that it was some sort of Solar Eclipse...??? Was it a distant planet passing directly behind the moon or something?
It was in the Sky most of the night... I first saw it at 10Pm and saw it at 5 in the morning...
did anyone else see this in Christchurch or around New Zealand?
...
Ive been thinking about it ever since I saw it...
Does this have any meaning for LMP?
What was it?

S.C I have often noticed the same phenomenon and my enquiries informed me that the existence of the circle is dependent on humidity in the atmosphere. - the closer to the moon the circle is, then the higher the humidity - so the humidity must have been relatively low when you made your observation. It's amazing that things, which have been in front of us for years, suddenly come to out attention. and GO LMP !!!!!
Shrewd Crude

Thanks for that Pietrade...
It was an amazing sight... I look in the sky often and Id never seen anything like it before...
I thought it might have had some sort of message for Yogi and his stock picking abilities...
...
Astronomy is an amazing topic... its one of those things id love to pursue but the dream of what you study in that field becoming reality in your life time is zilch... Some of those Astronomers have studied one field for their lives and their fields are still the same in infancy stage... thats why Ive started out in shares, I see my dream slowly becoming reality everyday...
...
Im in the View that Humans willnot ever get off the planet Earth and sustain life on another planet, as we Know of it here on Earth...
I mean, The US is planning a Mars Maned mission in 2020 is it?
thats too far away... we need to start acting now as the Earth is likely to be a mess in quite a few decades...just surviving will take over...
I saw on TV that the NASA budget is now made up of 15c per person per day... which is .1% of GDP... it was once 4% of GDP... 15c per day does not even pay for chewing gum...
America is stuffed...
Just my thoughts...
