So being a big cricket fan does anyone else think Michael Papps is not up to it? While a lot better than I could do seemingly the little bloke has been dropped 4 times in under 40 overs of play. Surely we could find someone in NZ who could hold an end up better.
Also while I am on it interesting discussion by the commentators on Shane Bond, can apparently bowl 10 overs at pace but not much more in a day without having continual stress fracture back problems. With Bond, Allot, Owens, Nash, Doull and probably more in the last ten years how come NZ can not produce a fast bowler who doesn't break down after a couple of years? We produce some of the toughest rugby players in the world but our bowlers break down after half a dozen games.
Anyways the point of this is that did anyone else see the whizzy (ok not sure thats a word but thats what happens after a few beers and wine from our dinner party) multi view option UK Sky BSB offers over the current test. You can choose from one of 6 camera angles to view each ball and pick up instant stats. All very good - does anyone know whether Sky NZ is ever planning on introducing similar technology? Appears to me a good revenue maker idea, I know I would use it. Could also apply to the footy as well.
