What sell off???
just the 40 odd point drop that occurred very quickly about 30 mins ago. it just had the look of a reaction to news (inflation, sub prime issue or whatever). i couldn't identify its cause so put the question out there. it's obviously stabilised and may have been nothing at all.

mmm... I must be numbed these days, anything less than a 1% drop seems like nothing to me nowadays :-P
It's happened throughout Asia as well, no idea why. Japan is still up though. This may be something to do with the fact that a column in Barrons weekly magazine in the US says that Japan is a steal.
well, tommy, i expect you'll get your big drop today. at least this time i'll know why... how long can economies withstand $120+ oil?

I dont think people will start to notice and take action until oil is at $150. Just talking to the average person on the street, they all still think oil is a infinite resource and that oil prices will eventually come down as they have always done. Silly them!

sub prime
inflation
the rest is just to keep you amused.
Am I a lucky bastard or what? I went long on the Dow last night, covered my position, but I forgot to cancel my stop. +100 odd pips due to that error:D:D:D
