Profit warning (another) last night

Prob drop from 370 odd to 320 odd today - that still gives it a 15 pe and dividend yield 5-6%

A stock that usually recovers after bad news - worth watching for a short medium term trade

All the crap (USA etc) out of the way now and all that cash flow freed up.

Underlying NPAT was about $25M and improvement on that likely makes forward looking pe about 10 and a pretty healthy dividend yield

No wonder a positie response to a pretty bad result .... obviously oversold the last few months.

I'd say plenty more in this yet

Dropped 11% today on no news. Any idea why Winner?

Warehouses have been closed down for a few days because the bosses called the workers 'blobs' in a leaked email

However underneath all that I fear Wattyl must be struggling sales and margin wise. Reading between the lines of the last announcement losing share to orica and margins under pressure as well. orica might give another side of this early May when they announce H1

It is only the high dividends (ongoing one special ones) that has kept the price up

Yesterday somebody sold some large parcels so once that has gone might be some recovery .. but long term prospects pretty poor unless somebody decides to put them out of their misery

Bounced but all the way down again

Playing games with the ASX as well ... yeah finger on the pulse stuff ... no real reasons for price decline on Wednesday ... savage profit warning on Monday

Earnings $10M is a long way from $25M last year

So cheap now somebody might put them out of their misery ... even GUD has been mentioned ... do 2 dogs make a right

Mostly talking to myself here but wouldn't be surprised if takeover offer in the wind sometime soon

In spite of CBA and 452 Capital ceasing to be substantial shareholders the price has gone up 25% (very nice indeed) over the last month with pretty solid volumes driving the increase

The OBV has definitely turned as well after many years of nobody really wanting this dog

Maybe maybe that talk of GUD or ORI or ???? taking over this might just be true

it sorta translated to alarm me if wyl ever was equal to 2.4 cents

and to top it off took me a few days to work out why all my alarms not workinglol

Strange trading behaviour today W69 - the buying only kicked in nearly 3 hours after the profit announcement. But yes if 280 can be scaled tomorrow then 300 should be a doddle within a short time.

But 325 is a steal insofar as Allco is concerned

Obviously market thinks is worth a bit more so trading over the 325 already
