Historical data

Can anyone help with where to find daily historical share prices? I used to have a link but can't find it anymore.
I'm looking to go back 6-12 months to find daily prices for a few stocks.

Go to quick quote for any share. Then click on charts. From the two year chart you can determine the price of any share at any point in the past two years. 6 month or 12 month charts are easier to read for that time frame.

Thanks Craic - looked at before that but is not accurate enough for me. I'm looking for actual daily prices. Think I used to get it from NZIJ but can't find anymore.

Yahoo finance has daily historical quotes for nz shares

Ted2,Try stocknessmonster.com - on the left side of the page click NZ under the Aust tab ,try the trades under the Quote box, trades are updated every 20 min or so ,for a daily update, good luck.

RJS - can't find on Yahoo. Do you have to be a member to access this?
Can you guide me where to go?

whatsup - what I mean is I'm looking to find what price say STU was on 12 March, 13 March, 14 March etc. Stockness doesn't seem to do this.

Hi Ted,

If you're just looking for certain dates rather that a whole spreadsheet of historical data, go to www.bigcharts.com.

For nz stocks, such as tel, you enter the stock code as nz:tel. Click on the the javacharts option to the right of where you've entered the code. When the chart displays, you will be able to pick off precise data for the stock as this is displayed for each day of the graph that you place the cursor on.

Hi ted,
to use yahoo.com, you dont need to register.
click on finance or goto http://finance.yahoo.com
In the box enter tel.nz and go.
At the telecom page click "historical prices"
enter any time period you want.
