Market Manipulation ?

I notice that around closing time and invarably at 5pm share prices will move either way. Today, as early as 4.45pm the sell quotes on some shares were less than the buy quotes. To me this indicates that the market is being manipulated to the advantage of certain traders. Maybe someone with greater ability than I, may like to take this matter up with the NZX.

Hi Rainey. From 4:45pm is pre-close on the NZX - order-matching procedure akin to open. As per usual, it is easier to find the information on sharetrader than on the NZX site... :p

Apparently, it's easier to obtain NZX information if you pay for a subscription... ;)
