GPG / Coats

Have just looked at GPGs list of shareholdings (on their website) and Coats is not mentioned. I thought they had a big stake, can anyone shed light, thanks

You'll find Coats listed under its "Operating Subsidiaries" as it is 100% owned .... the list you were prob looking at was the list of "Summary of Quoted Investments"

CSR, Sugar & building products on ASX & a GPG investment has had a good offer out of the blue from China, apparently the price is good but people are nervous about selling the icons.

Will GPG get a Chinese offer for Coats?

do not think so.
chinese buy assets, not so keen on liabilities.
