I don't know if the views aired by Andy Hayden are too different from what I've heard many people voice, namely if women throw themselves at individual sports players and/or groups of players, and everyone's on the juice....these women are throwing themselves at complete strangers....if a woman's thrown themselves at a group of players - been a 'bun' as the leaguies apparently refer to them - and then has a problem with it later once they have to live with themselves and people call them a slut, who should they blame? It might be fun for the girls if an All Blacks plying them with marijuana but the stuff's supposed to be illegal...no-one's forcing them into potentially ambiguous situations with people they've only seen on TV.
Let's face it, if a man's famous, wealthy or powerful then the knickers come flying off and they're sliding in at the guy on their backs with their legs spread apart. I saw a program about Duran Duran one time and the bassist said that this one time there were so many groupies surrounding him that one girl shrieked out "John, look here" and pissed herself. She pissed herself to get his attention.
eLike it or not, that's reality. So I guess a lot of these sports stars have a veiw that women are less than virtuous creatures. They probably see them as shallow sluts just gagging for it.
Now Andy Hayden just voiced a view which is common to many. I guess what isn't allowed to happen - clearly - is for a high profile rugby world cup ambassador to say these things. It's just not the done thing to do.

Andy has foot in mouth disease, & should just learn to shut up, nothing he says is relevant or what normal NZ'ers think.
He should stick to managing Rachel Hunter & co, & withdraw from anything to do with rugby, he's a has been & nothing more

Radio news said Hayden has resigned (after hiding from the Minister & refusing to take his phone calls, preventing Hayden's direct sacking).
Hayden probably thinks this proves he's a really clever fellow.
Good riddance.
