It's Only Entertainment

The Taupo road from Napier has just opened to traffic so I'm off on my holidayss for three weeks to Thailand. Will probably give up on the driving about Auckland and take a plane. Added a couple of sites that might provide some entertainment for some people.

Enjoy - your greatest threat to your health over there will be the driving. No joke, more white knuckle than any adventure stuff I've done in NZ.

14 year old kids driving ya mini bus at 120k on the wrong side of the road with one arm out the window as you pass recent car wrecks on the wayside.

Other than that have a good one as its a great place.

My experience of the thai transport system(some cars plus a million of the same scooter) like everyones is probably best described as chaotic. However the only people honking in anger were white. The 14 year olds are just adding a few thrills to the holiday.
