This has been in the dog house for a while, but it recently hit a 52 week high. Today they just announced the sale of some of their US assets, which will be used to pay down debt. This will bring their LVR back to 40%, reduce interest costs, and also reduces the interest rate by 1% on remaining debt. The result of all this is that dividends should soon be resumed as the company is within all its bank covenants now.

Still a significant NTA play at 11c although I havent factored in the reduction of the US assets on NTA yet.

"I'm in the money, I'm in the money, I'm in the money ...."

My pre-GFC dog has finally come good :-)
Now it should go back to being a nice dividend paying REIT, trading at NTA, with some growth prospects via building new villages funded from cashflows. Cross fingers. I had hoped that this stock would be like a RYM or at least a takeover opportunity for FKP or Stockland. Damn good business to be in, provided you manage the business properly.

In case you werent watching for sneaky press releases over the Xmas holidays, ILF announced property revaluations that will add 6.2c per unit to NAV. Market didn't notice.

I saw it and enjoyed it too.!!!!!
Now I can't remember where I saw it,may have been on "What is Sir Ron Brierley doing" thread, but it said Sir Ron was now a large holder, either had 10mil shares or 10% . I looked at shareholder list but could not find him.
All the latest announcements have been very positive so looks as though you will be in even more money KW !! Thanks for the tip,and I am also enjoying the ride.

Thanks Karen1.You have started the year as you finished last year,No.1. Thanks all calm.Went over to Parklands last night.Beautiful homes, streets have been repaired 3 or 4 times, and looks as though the whole area will be written off.Was surreal sitting in these people's lovely lounge admiring their wonderful garden, then looking out at the dreadful mess the street was in.

Two days, two new 52 week highs. Looks like ILF has finally got some momentum. I'm hoping it gets back to somewhere near its NTA this year. Chart looks good - its performed excellently only the past year, and looks set to do just as well in 2012.

Picked up a few of these at 20.5 on open. Not a bad place to hide in the current market. NTA will be in excess of 35c after the US deal settles, with a decent chunk of that made up of cash. Should be in a position to start dividends in the next 12 months I would think and maybe even some takeover activity given the share register. Thanks for the inital alert KW
