Russia
The situation in Russia is looking pretty dire if the following article is anything to go by;
http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/worl...ouble-collapse
I'd suggest there's more to go yet and now's not quite the time. However this could provide a great opportunity in the future to pickup some cheap investments with huge upside once the economy/sanctions have been sorted and things pick up again.
Anybody follow Russia or have any knowledge of investing there? (where's Sparky when you need him!)

...its not Russia that's in a dire straits.
Russia is diverting it's attention away from Europe towards the developing Eurasia trade zone, China, Turkey, India and Iran.
US foreign policy to isolate Iran and to turn China against Russia is back firing miserably
Russias trade base traditionally has been the Ruble. The US/European sanctions are toothless measures of desperation to stop the developing Eurasia trade zone ... and so is the CHEAP OIL attack.
Of course, buying imports in Russia will be inhibitory expensive in the short term, but motivates Russia to focus on developing domestic production, using the domestic ruble and China credit (for example to build the oil and gas pipeline supposedly to supply Europe, but now diverting it to Turkey
Yes, this is the time to take positions in the Eurasian markets
kind regards
