40% shares
25% cash
25% home
5% Fixed Interest
5% alternatives
Two questions. The first one really matters:
How old are you?
What will you do with the money from selling your shares?

This discussion is futile. The only thing that is important is how to change your weightings to asset classes to adapt to the market.

92% stocks (that I don't need for a good few years).
8% cash (for contingencies).
