Bunch of the guys from work were watching thuis from various locations in Auckland. Damn, we're becoming more and more like america every day.

The commentory on the first link is hilarious ... There's a few other up on you tube now and its pretty spectactular.

Its straffed our building in Albany today- minor damage only.

First time for me to see and feel a Tornado close up. They have amazing power- this could easily pick someone up outside- you would not have a chance. Sorry for the lost and damaged people.

Two words describe my experience: Primal fear.
5 seconds of: will roof hold......will we die???

Then we watched with interest (very exciting sight) as it went off and terrorised further out suburbs.
