AUCKLAND COUNCIL SEES WEATHER HIT OF UP TO $4 BILLION
'Auckland Council says "initial estimates" show it faces costs associated with the flooding and cyclones earlier this year of up to $4 bln. This includes recovery costs plus short-term investment, like the proposed property buy-out scheme, and longer-term investment in infrastructure projects that aim to increase climate change resilience. Funding options include; reducing or deferring other capital spending, further sale of assets, further service reductions, considering the level of future rates increases, and debt finance.'

Auckland Transport hit by another cyberattack: AT Mobile app and website impacted
Auckland Transport’s website, mobile app and live departure displays have been compromised again after another cyberattack.
An Auckland Transport (AT) spokesperson said they understood the latest attack was related to the most recent one, when a ransomware gang called Medusa demanded a US $1 million ransom, saying if it was not paid the group would release AT’s data online.
“The current issue is a malicious attempt to disrupt the traffic to our website, by overwhelming it with a flood of internet traffic - a distributed denial-of-service attack,” the spokesperson said.
“Customers are experiencing intermittent issues accessing our website, AT Mobile App, AT Park, Journey Planner and public information displays.
How many times is that ?
Bound to be browning quite a few off
Where's Brown while this AT Nonsense is going on ?
Do AT need another KIngsized Brown wake up call to sort themselves out properly this time ?

Auckland Transport spends $6 million on staff redundancies as part of cost-cutting drive
Auckland Transport has spent $6 million on staff redundancies as part of a drive to cut costs, including paying out some who were offered other jobs within the agency.
The restructure was in response to Auckland Council’s directive that gave AT just a few months to make cuts worth $30m.
Among the 147 staff who left their jobs before July are nine people who had been offered redeployment within AT but who decided to take the money instead.
The head cherangs at AT obviously must have got distracted
Shame about website, systems & financial security of the e-coin collecting part of the job ..

Auckland Transport Hop card refund battle: Man’s long fight over $12.15 credit
Auckland Transport are refunding a man’s $12.15 Hop card balance after he threatened a small claims dispute against its chief executive over long delays to get his money back.
The man, who didn’t want to be identified, told the Herald he’d been fighting Auckland Council’s transport arm for two and a half years over the tiny balance. The card, which allows for cashless payments on Auckland public transport, had expired after six years of not being used.
A bit digusting on part of one of AC's Captive Pets being tardy on coughing up
Sounds like the fellow chasing the refund got rather Browned Off with AT's BS circle
Even a mugshot of the Fishhead on the top of this mini Transport Empire in case others
have similar complaints of nothing happening
Moral of Exercise: Have a problem with any of the Local Body sub-empires and the jumped up performing mice within ? - Promise of Court Action against the top Fishhead will usually see a resolution
