I am relatively new at this. I have noticed that Meridian have seen share price drops while Genesis are still quite strong. Also - while the initial outlay was $1.00 per share and sometime in 2015 they need to pay the other $0.50. Would the share price drop then? I mean really the the share price bought is $1.50 and it's not around $1.65 not exactly a big performance is it? Or is it?
Genesis was $1.55 at IPO and it is now over $2.00.
Over time it should be a pretty boring safe utility share though.
