I hadn't seen any mention of this here - so thought I would kick things off.
The Port and the Union are in dispute from having a quick search looks like they have been locked out for 4 days - although briefly reopened today (Friday). There was a write up a few days ago from Zero Hedge here: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-02-12/catastrophic-shutdown-americas-supply-chain-begins-stunning-photos-west-coast-port-c - which detailed that West Cost Ports are responsible for approximately 3.5% of the US GDP.
