New arrival on this forum but was wondering what anyone thinks of Speirs Group trading on the NZAX.I have been a holder for a few years now and they seem to be turning the corner after some difficulties.

First of all welcome.
SGL has 11,334,576 shares on issue and at 23 cents a market cap of $2,606,952.
Salads and Finance does not appear to be a good mix.
Very checked history. For a very small company the accounts are very complicated.
With redeemable preference shares, and perpetual shares on issue, they are even more difficult to understand.
Next result must be due shortly,so we will then be able to gauge whether the prospects look good or not.

You are quite correct when you say salads and finance don't mix given today's result.
If i sell now at the going price i will still make a profit seeing i only paid 7c many years ago, however i'm tempted to hold on until June then it could be decision time.

I see that Speirs intend to delist from the NZAX and may or may not list on UNLISTED.
Anybody know what is the best for shareholders.

Will that'll keep costs down, but make the shares illiquid, which is especially bad for small holdings

Seems like small shareholders are giving up on retaining SGL shares.Future not looking good I wouldn't think.

Delisting approved by shareholders.
Tough times loom methinks
