......have been finding Sharetrader the slowest to load of any site I visit. This appears to be a fairly common problem now that Ive looked into it. In fact it's soooo slow now I may not bother with the forum....just ridiculous!! Any geek out there got some suggestions/ideas.......I dont think it's a settings problem as it's affecting too many others and it has got noticeably worse over the last few months?? Thanks in advance.

Have a Gr8day.

Agreed. Potentially a application or server-side issue, which can either be solved by tuning the server or increasing resources. Too hard to tell without looking under the hood, but either way if anyone from ST wants to PM me I would be happy to help either looking at the server or providing some alternative hosting (within NZ) for the forum as this is my area of expertise.

.....brilliant KG, hope that idea bears fruit. This is too frustrating for words!

Agree - this site is very slow for me as well - in general other sites I visit are fine so don't think it is network speed or my own PC.
(Also finding ANZ Securities very slow. Not relevant to this thread I know but curious to know if any others are finding same)

Thanks GR8DAY for bringing this up. Now saving us all a lot of time. I too was considering flagging the forum due to the frustration.
Unfortunately though, it is a shadow of its former self with all the banning and disaffected previous contributors. So much knowledge, analysis and depth now gone.
My view is that as long as it isn't personal abuse or blatant ramping it should be allowed.
Let us provided our own discernment and filters.
But what would I know.

.....hey my pleasure BIKER, amazing how things "creep" up on us and we just accept it as the norm.......until someone points it out! Great work by our admininistrator......he can only be described as invinceable.

Yep, I am finding that too. Not universally, but very obvious for example when loading the login page.

Absolutely ST is smoking fast here, though I do have a very fast internet service. ST is way way faster now than a couple of days ago when it was almost unbearably slow.

Whatever you have done , Vince, it has cured the problem and has remained cured for a couple of days now. Was getting a bit much but really good now. Thanks.
