LATIN CLAIMS 70,000 HECTARES IN LITHIUM PEGMATITE
DISTRICT, CATAMARCA, ARGENTINA.

HIGHLIGHTS
 Latin Resources Limited (ASX: LRS) announced 09 May 2016 the signing of a binding
term sheet to form a joint-venture between LRS and Lepidico Limited (LEP) which will
seek to acquire and advance lithium projects in Argentina and Peru to utilise the
Lepidico process technology to produce lithium carbonate.
 70,000 hectares in seven exploration tenements have now been applied for in the
Catamarca Province that adjoin two areas totalling 7,500 hectares that together host in
excess of twenty Lithium bearing pegmatite deposits documented by various authors
over the last 50 years.
 The documented deposits in the adjacent areas are pegmatite dykes striking roughly NS
over 50 m to 700 m length, and are up to 8 m thick.
 Past reports identify that Lithium is predominantly present in the adjacent areas as
Spodumene, with individual crystals reaching more than 1m in length. Lithium micas
are also reported in some cases as accessory minerals.
 The documented Lithium bearing pegmatite deposits in the adjacent areas have a
history of small scale past production, having been intermittently exploited for Lithium
minerals and associated Beryl, Tantalum and feldspars during the 1950’s and 1970’s.
 The exploration tenements applied for by the Company host hundreds of outcropping
pegmatite dykes, frequently in swarms (Figure 3), and have reportedly never been
systematically explored for Lithium. Such fertile terrain in proximity to significant
Lithium deposits is considered highly prospective.
 The Company is now working towards controlling the Villisman and Ancasti groups that
host the known Lithium pegmatites that adjoin the tenements applied for.

Latin Resources Limited (ASX: LRS) (“Latin” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that, in line
with the Company’s joint venture initiative with Lepidico Limited, (announced 09 May 2016), claim
applications for 70,000 hectares of exploration tenements have been lodged at the Catamarca
Province mines office. The seven tenements adjoin two areas (the Vilisman Group and the Ancasti
Group) each hosting a number of well documented Lithium bearing pegmatites near the townships of
Ancasti and Vilisman (Figure 2), each located on the eastern slopes of the Ancasti Ranges some 40 km
from the Provincial Capital, San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca (Figure 1).

Argentina.
Pegmatites of the Ancasti Ranges:
Various studies of pegmatites in the Ancasti Ranges have been reviewed: Herrera (1964), Rossi
(1965), Fernández Lima et al. (1970), Marconi (1972), Balmaceda (1982), Balmaceda and Kaniefsky
(1982), Lottner (1983), Acosta et al. (1988) and Galliski (1992a, 1994a, 1994b).
Acosta et al (1988) grouped a series of lithium-bearing pegmatites occurrences in the Ancasti Ranges
into two groups, geographically located within several kilometres of each of the Vilisman and Ancasti
townships.

areas). Latin’s claim applications cover the orange shaded areas extending outwards from, but excluding,
the known Lithium deposits.

Ancasti Group, Latin Pursuing
The Vilisman Group hosts at least 8 pegmatite deposits that have evidence of past mining activity. Six
of these are individual dykes emplaced along structures in banded mica schists, while two are formed
as multiple dykes. Most of the dykes outcrop over at least 100 m of strike length with thicknesses of
between 1 m and 5 m. Acosta et al (1988) mentions 11 other deposits in the Vilisman Group that
were visited as part of this work, but cites insufficient data preventing their inclusion in the tabulated
list, despite having observed good mineralisation and workings.
There are apparently fewer identified Lithium pegmatite deposits in the Ancasti group but these are
relatively larger in terms of strike length and width relative to those

Point of interest from todays Announcement

These authors reported that lithium is predominantly present as Spodumene and these crystals can be over a meter in length! What’s more, there’re documented finds of more than 120,000 tonnes of Spodumene within 15 meters of the surface at 12 of Latin Resources’ 20 pegmatite deposits. The Catamarca district is to lithium what the Pilbara is to iron ore. The key difference is that there has been next to no systematic exploration for lithium at Catamarca and the region has only hosted a handful of small scale lithium mines. Low cost producer that is two years away from production It’s not only Latin Resources’ potentially large deposits of Spodumene that will excite investors. The explorer is also shaping up to be among the world’s lowest cost lithium producers after it signed an exclusive agreement earlier this month with Lepidico to use the L-Max technology in Argentina and Peru. L-Max can extract lithium from pegmatites more cheaply and effectively than current methods used today. The low capital requirement and unique design to set up a processing plant using L-Max mean that Latin Resources could possibly start commercial production extremely quickly! Low capex and a quick ramp up to commercial production give Latin Resources an important competitive advantage over the sector.

Hi there JB - Yes back after a long spell away - ironically this was the first share investor forum site i joined 10 years + ago and its been an interesting decade of investing to say the least

yes just found your old LRS thred :) - Guess its appropriate to start one considering they chasing lithium now - lets hope this pans out as I expect it to do - currently trading games being played so its a sit and wait scenario if people can be patient - its one for the bottom drawer if you believe they will bring this to production inside 2 years which is a possibility - Argentina has changed politically for the better so the securing of these Lithium rich tenements will add value to LRS - cheers Schu

LRS has broken its 52 week high - today which is "very bullish" and already 30 million traded today - should go alot higher -

LRSO options with approximately 1 year to expiry so IMO any options under 1c (current sellers at .007c ) are worth acquiring and a better leverage to make money if you like the Argentinian Lithium opportunity these guys have GLTA looks like a keeper for me :)

- if they get confirmation of the 77,000 hectares of lithium tenements which they have applied for with Argintinian govt then this will fly IMO ( DYOR ) thanks

Well another great day for LRS - over 120 million shares traded today on both Asx and CHI-X

From when i first posted about this stock on 31 May we are now up 70% gain in 2 weeks - anyone else bought in when i started posting ? if so well done - its going to be a good medium / long term LITHIUM hold IMO :)

the options LRSO could become great leverage :D

p.s WE CLOSED AGAIN ON THE INTRADAY HIGH 2 DAYS IN A ROW (Friday and Monday) and have now exceeded and closed above the companies 52 week high ------ we may finally be getting re-rated by market due to their MASSIVE land holding (lithium) in Argentina which some suggest could become a Lithium provence and WE have a massive stake or piece of the pie

As always time will tell

All the best to you Schu.
I am pretty wary of early explorers in Li.
Suspect many are going to fall away or be consumed by producers.
Have holdings in GXY and NMT, both up 200%+ so have more than an interest in the sector..it just seems everyone is looking for spodumene even KAI, a dog Ive held for far too long!

SCHUMACHER
20-06-2016, 07:18 PM
Thanks Aotea- couldnt agree more an thanks for your honest and direct comments which is refreshing - Ironically GXY started similiar to LRS so it will be interesting to see this one evolves as they intend to get to production relatively quickly (within 2 years) if all goes well so buying a million shares at 2c is worth it as long as people dont get carried away and throw all their capital at it - 5% of working capital is enough IMO

Agree there are alot of dog stocks out there and it takes something for a company to go from a "penny dreadful" to something of status GXY is one of those companies as they were trading below 5c for some time before the bIG run - i personally believe LRS will do well subject to a few milestones being met

ive been in the game of investing for many years and can assure readers this company has potential to Become a BIG player in lITHIUM province of Argentina however DYOR) - i do my research very thoroughly and then put my cash on the table as early in the companies cycle as possibe - management and ability to deliver are two important and critical factors - management in LRS is exceptional but ill let others decide that for themselves

i have a fairly solid reputation when it comes to picking winners - some examples below - my point is that people need to follow their own beliefs and reasons for investing , Buying , selling and holding - these days we are having to deal with a different market as we do every year however todays markets tend to be full of traders lookign for a few pips profit so now there are more playing in a traders arena than investors which is a shame as a lot of companies are fundamentally undervalued due to trading platforms and algorithims that can easily distort the reality of company assets, so the key is to avoid all the trading noise and look seriously at what sectors are performing and will do for the future due to supply and demand ratios -
TOX - bought at 2.8c now $2.53 :)

OXIANA - bought at 4c sold at many multiples (long time ago )
AGM - Nickel producer bought at 8c sold $1.10 when it got bought out by Jinchuen
TV2 bought at .009c now 3.7c
BRN- bought at 4c sold at 48c -

Anyway I digress.... back to LRS
They have proven lithium due to historic sites in one of the worlds largest Lithium provinces - anyway each to their own - they intend to have a JORC compliant resource by end of year so lots to look forard to for a company with a very small market cap - however we need to prove up the resource and confirm those exceptional grades as ive mentioned in "cut and paste" below from company announcement ---read on........

the volumes of shares traded daily is somewhat staggering and today we saw it again - a few weeks ago we saw 200 million traded and the odd 50 million day - albeit alot of churn however we are experiencing higher lows and more importantly higher highs - if management can deliver this year what the market is wanting to see then this will be multiples of even todays price and a re-rating will seriously be on the cards :)
