Hello all, I've been reading around the forum for a few weeks now, but as I'm pretty green when it comes to investing I haven't really felt that I have anything to contribute...I'm just trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible.
One thing that has come up time and again is the use of Excel spreadsheets to track investments. Now I have a fairly functional grasp of Excel, enough to build myself a spreadsheet, but where I come unstuck is that I'm not sure that I know precisely what I need to include in it (newbie, remember). Which leads me to my question...would any of the more experienced members be willing to share examples of the spreadsheets they use, so that I might have something to base my own on? I'm not looking to have all the work done for me, I just want to try to avoid costly mistakes and do-overs.
