Can somebody please explain to me how the above acquisition might affect Kingfish (company and shares) given that Kingfish is currently managed by Fisher Funds.

Remember, I'm a newbie so if this is a stupid question please just answer it anyway ;)

I would think this a positive move considering the involvement of TSB around the country re sponsorship and their profile generally. No such thing as a stupid question, as opposed to a stupid answer...

part of the deal is TSB at the same time are to sell off 25% approx. to TA Associates, a private fund manager, then a further 9% to take it to 34% once the sale goes thru - something like that anyway!
Carmel to stay on the Board at this stage.

So will Fisher Funds remain as Fisher Funds under the TSB umbrella? Just trying to figure out what, if anything, will change for Kingfish management from here on.

I have read on the ANZ Shareholding website that ther will be no change in management. I understand this statement to be true for the foreseeable future.
