Happy days with this stock, and nice movement on volume yesterday.
Have been holding since July and like both the current story and potential with this stock. Was a little surprised that there wasn't a bit more detail in their latest 4C on their growth strategy, but this company seems to keep the market informed pretty well.

I'm enjoying this ride and am "well positioned"

Share price hit 10.5 cents this morning now back @ 9.5 ...maybe people expecting a little too much from the AGM , not sure but the presentation reads well to me . Happy holding .

Read through the AGM presentation and it found it to be 'steady as she goes'. Would have been nice if they had attached the CEO commentary as well to get the tone of the presentation.
No real update apart from "Trials into new regions commenced" and "more seat sales in New York are pending". I was hoping for a little more meat, but the market seemed to approve.

Happy to hold and see what the next update brings

KNM this week traded back down to support @ 10 , in fact just touched 9.9 for small volume . Decent buying support came into the market down there and it quickly traded bak to 11/12 . In fact a traders paradise 11-12.5 :) .
Awaiting a sales update from the NY area that was promised in January .Hopefully that is the catalyst for us to finally push through the 15 resistance .

Not sure whether the Aussie market is still in holiday mode ,as there appears to be more than usual volatility in a large number of small cap companies I hold,including KNM and LOV.

Latest 4C out, and I'm a little disappointed.

The way I read it:

- Sales have stalled, as remaining 5,500 NYC special needs seats are still waiting on budget allocation (these were promised to us by the end of Oct 2017 in the Sep update)
- Payments from NYC Department of Education have been delayed (these were confirmed to be coming in the Oct 4C update, yet only $8k was received at 31 Dec 17)
- New state trials have been delayed due to weather

Traction may return to KNM during the current quarter through new trials and sales (like June & July 2017), but from my point of view, they failed to reach my expectations of "significant growth" during the quarter as mentioned in the previous 4C. The company over promised and under delivered (again) IMHO.

I like the idea and the market opportunity that KNM have, but have sold a chunk of my holding today and will monitor for a possible re-entry once traction starts to return.

However NO SALES to schools in December and January."Sales have stalled."
NO SALES to schools in April school holidays.Stalling again.
Snow and floods.Sales stall.
NO SALES to schools in July school holidays.Stalling again.
NO SALES to schools in September school holidays. Sales stalled yet again.
A lot of "Stalling" when you deal with schools.

They mentioned "KneoMedia is well-placed for another quarter of significant growth", but it's obvious now that they (probably not from lack of trying) haven't been able to execute. I notice that this statement hasn't been used to sign off the latest 4C.

The story may still be the same as last year, but after seeing how it's getting executed (slower than expected), I have decided to stand back and wait for the next catalyst to kick in.

The company is valued at $77m (including options in the money) and hasn't really shown it's shareholders any money yet.

I should have pointed out that the first 6 months schools have funds.Second half is difficult selling, as they have often spent their funds.
I usually do nearly 66% of my business in the first 6 months.
I very much doubt shareholders will see any cash for 4 or more years.
We may see fantastic growth ,or it dies a natural death.
Next couple of results will give us a better idea where KNM is headed.

I would think by June/ July we will know where we are going.
If the sales are there,the cash will come in.
Getting payment systems in place with schools, has to be properly organised,then payments are quick.

I share your sentiments Percy. I have been working in IT for schools for quite sometime now. For a school to introduce a new piece of technology it requires a lot of co-ordination and time. If this isn't done correctly and not enough time is invested then the technology will flop.

There are many obstacles for businesses in the education sector to deal with, but they have to be resilient, which I believe KMN are. I see they are also playing the good guy card by giving licenses prior to budget allocation - shows KNM understand this sector, schools always respect this.

The only thing that will concern me is if the customers start to drop their seat licenses or the trials don't eventuate to seat licenses, but don't see that happening if they keep proving their software is worth it.

I am looking forward to AUS and Asia trials and the 2nd quarter, no concerns here, sky isn't falling just raining a little (that maybe ex-cyclone Fehi though). :)

HY out for KNM and just as disappointing as the last two 4C's IMHO.

Payments not really coming through (Trade receivables $579k), seem to be harder than getting blood out of a stone having to get NYC schools to shell out for a seat licence.
Love the comment "the Company's auditors were unable to obtain sufficient evidence regarding revenue or trade receivables"

Sitting completely on the sidelines now, waiting for the traction to return

So no changes were expected.

The KNM thread has been a little quiet the last few months (much like the company on new seat sales and receiving NYC DOE cash receipts).

The last quarterly was (once again) a little disappointing, with a lack of new sales and evidence of cash received from last year's sales. One would almost wonder if the ASX has KNM on it's radar for a please explain over announcing sales which they never receive cash for (Free seats). The delay in receipts indicates that KNM is more of a price taker than price maker, so it will be interesting how many of the schools renew their licence (as many will start to expire soon).

Still awaiting the 'White Papers' as well.

We are now into the June /July period where last year the positive announcements came out every 10 days, but looking at the chart I would say that the market is looking to see 'the money' before re-rating KNM back to a buy. Or maybe it's as simple as the new (not-for-profit organisation) partnership announced yesterday that will fix all the funding delay problems.

Still way overvalued IMHO, so happy to have locked in a profit and be sitting this out.

Disc - sold end of Jan on lack of traction, still waiting for it to return.

Oh dear, one day later at the market has spoken. SP down 25% to 4.9c (at time of writing)!

I guess the market has finally woken up to the FA.

Support should be around the 4.5c area where the discounted CR was last year
