I've been looking into all the listed property trusts in the NZX.
In terms of a capital growth prospect, they aren't that appeasing, however their dividend yields during the GFC in 2008-ish seemed great.
Did anyone invest heavily into them during the GFC period? Can you please talk me through the mood at the time surrounding these, whether any went through any difficulty with their valuations going down and having to sell properties, etc. I've read through their annual reports and they all looked pretty solid.
Reason I ask is that if a property slump comes along with the new government, these look like a good one to add to the watchlist and get 10%+ gross dividend yields on with the imputation credits too.
