Hi. New to the Forum (well, been a watcher on and off for a while) Looking to get back into investing again after a hiatus of several years. I discovered this site recently and have not yet had time to look closely at it. https://simplywall.st/stocks/NZ Any comments from those who have more experience would be appreciated. Any other favorite resources that people use?? Thanks in advance.

Greetings and welcome to the forum Drew95

Personally I have no experience on NZ listed stocks. My emphasis has always been with US equities. But above all of this, the real issue is you may be better off to wait for a major world recession or some global stock market crash. It's very clear those that say on the side since the GFC of 2008 has missed out on tremendous gains and it would be foolish thinking to believe similar gains will come in the next 10 years. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Drew, I have used simplywallst's free sign-up for a year or so, and have just paid for full access. I have found it useful for telling me how much debt the company has, whether insiders have been buying (or selling) recently, whether it has a rosy future and whether it is over-or-undervalued. I also look at Shareclarity and Yahoo for advice. Often they disagree with each other!
