Good to see a typically discursive and insightful Sharesies discussion start following my note above. Not sure how Mr "I'm up 15%" is going to get on selling tomorrow though.

I wonder what sparked the recent interest. Been no buyers for months and then a flurry of activity. Now a delayed report.

Very happy with that result. Significant growth from all investments. 2c dividend with DRP. Cash flow positive and profitable. Net assets double current share price.

Quite the result indeed. Good job I took a gamble and partook of the last round of capital raising.

Seems like a good undertaking...

AUCKLAND, 22 October, 2020. Hi-tech software and services investment company Enprise Group (NZX: ENS) will pay $335,038 to take up its full allocation of shares in a rights issue of its joint venture Datagate Innovation as Datagate chalks up 359% growth in monthly recurring revenue in the US.
Enprise’s management team has a strong track record in building profitable businesses, clocking up more than $50 million in successful venture capital deals. Enprise Group is positioning to repeat its winning formula with Datagate Innovation, a global SaaS telecom billing provider.
Datagate aims to raise between $750,000 and $1 million through the rights issue, which closes October 31st 2020. Offered at $2.20 per share, the capital raise gives Datagate a pre-money valuation of $12.2 million. If Enprise Group 2,010,397 shares in Datagate with an unaudited carrying value of $847,390 were valued at the October 2020 rights issue price of $2.20 per share, the value of the investment would be $4,422,873.
Datagate is planning a Series A capital round in August/September 2021.
Most of Datagate's revenue and growth comes from the US with its primary market of 100,000 technology service providers. More than 90 of Datagate’s 150 customers are in the US, with the rest in New Zealand, Australia, UK and Canada. In September 2020 Datagate reached $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue. US monthly recurring revenue grew by 359% during EOY March 2020. Datagate plans to grow annual recurring revenue to USD $2 million (NZD $3 million) by December 2021.
Market demand for Datagate has not slowed down since the Covid-19 outbreak, as its clients are busy supplying advanced unified communications systems and remote working solutions to their customers.

Wondering what caused the sudden spike this week. No news and looks like lots of small volume trades. No chat on the Sharsies FB forum, so is there a youtuber promoting the profitability and growth of reselling MYOB?

Definitely my WTF stock of 2021.
Someone must know something or there is a lot of no idea buying pressure?

Only 14 mil shares or so on issue -- with speeding ticket a while back .. NZReg Co still seem too busy elsewhere
to notice or blissfully unaware that the red light hasn't come on again .. ;)

but Jorge (further above) may have uncovered some sort of answer for the rapid SP growth ;)

In recent weeks there are examples of US Listed Small Caps with low issued capital adding
over 50% in just one trading session on favourable news .. ;)

But No Imputation credits added in on any ENS distributions from 2018 through to 2021 ..

so just remember that the long hairy arm of Inland Revenue Tax Collections section came out & swiped 33% of the payout
before you got to see anything DRP or in cold hard Ca$h .. ;)

Lol. I posted that when the share price was about $0.60. Almost a five bagger since then. Not sure if the tax take on dividends has been an important consideration for any investors in ENS, then or now.

The next XRO?
Seems to be no end to the gold rush in sight.
Should have bought more at $0.40 instead of putting in a cheeky $0.20 when I was the only buyer!

Try buying any of these now & see how it goes .. ;)

Just over 16 mil on issue (probably less on the loose with major sitting holders)

Most the campers appear happy sitting for the next ride ..

Enprise is one of the top performers on the NZX in the past year. It has risen from 68 cents to $3.89 (470%). There appear to be ample buyers at the new level. That raises the fundamental question what is the value of Enprise. For the 6 months to 31 December 2020 revenue was 7.44 million. That's almost $15 million on an annualised basis.

Should Enprise be valued like a SaaS company due to the recurring revenue nature of its income? If so then SaaS companies often trade at a multiple of 20 times recurring revenue. That could value it up to $300 million - almost five times its current capitalisation of $62 million. I appreciate there are a number of different companies within Enprise and thes will make valuation difficult. However, I am interested in feedback as there could be further for this rapidly rising company to appreciate.

Whoever was buying appears to have had their fill and with no further buying support the panic selling of speculators begins.

Question is .. do I buy more at the bottom and hope further dividends send us skyward again, or just chuck them back in the drawer and see where we are in another 5 years?

Just 16 m or so shares on issue (a portion locked up with larger Holders etc) - certainly looks one that can be fairly volatile

Not easy to buy, if there aren't many for sale or no-one wants to sell

Good News may well trigger some equally exponental SP movements upwards as well

The ride could be quite wild with ENS - but lets see where it goes .. with some IT firms attracting
the eyes of the big money of the states & elsewhere .. ;)

the chance to take up others 'opportunity foregone' is looking inviting & worth a possible wait .. ;)

ENS Share registry is fairly tight & a smallish issued Cap with this one compared with some others

For me - worth the punt @ current levels seeing improving dividend prospects, even if the yield is still light & no imputation credits

Goodness me - From $4 to 95c in just 7 months

The gradient looks fine for downhill skiing

a small shake and the lower 84c level could become reality .. with low volumes / interest

Discl: not currently a holder

FMA warns NZX-listed Enprise over its accounting records

The Financial Markets Authority has warned New Zealand stock exchange-listed Enprise Group for failing to keep proper accounting records.

In an August 11 letter, the financial watchdog considered that Enprise had breached the Financial Markets Authority Act and the Financial Markets Conduct Act.

Enprise had failed to provide the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) with sufficient evidence to support disclosures and assumptions used to prepare its June 30 2022 financial statement. The breach was related to Enprise’s Australian subsidiary, Kilimanjaro Consulting, and certain tax-related assets.

Enprise describes itself as a high-tech software and services investment company on its website. It has two operating divisions, one of which is Kilimanjaro Consulting. The other is iSell, a seller of cloud-based quoting systems. In October last year, the company’s auditors told the FMA it couldn’t find enough evidence to support certain issues.

Sounds a bit grim when the FMA start digging around
