Restaurant Brands. Attendees at AGM get free KFC chicken and pizza. Annually you get a free meal voucher from KFC.

As a shareholder of MPG, I get nothing. Nothing from MET, nothing from OCA, nothing from AMP, nothing from WBC. Some I don't even get dividends. Ohh poor me.

Surely if Restaurant Brands offer free KFC and pizza at their AGM then Westpac should offer free money at theirs:)

Or at the very least bank fee rebates.

Free pizza? Sign me up ...

Also when will NTL start handing out gold nuggets to investors? With the management salaries they could probably buy a few ... don't even need to mine them.

WHS has sent out a discount voucher just before Christmas the past couple of years (maybe for longer than that). It's pretty restricted though since you can only use it on 2 days or something.

I saw at the end of the FWL (Foley Wines) annual report something about an Investors Wine Club and wondered what that was all about??

Probably like Delegats, you get to buy their wine at small discount to retail.

Back in the day SKC used to give a room discount to shareholders. If they stopped this, might be time to reinstate it.

Skyline give free gondola rides in Queenstown and Rotorua, discounts on accommodation in Queenstown and Dunedin and some sort of bonus points with their casino club.

My first shares was way back in the late 80's in Wilson Neil - and they gave out a discount voucher to one of their booze shops.

I was about 15..... ;)

Remember that one .. back in the day when it was a penny dreadful & having a little fun periodically - when the SP could only go one way
like double up north, less the 2 lots of brokerage

meanwhile quite a few thousand in the pocket later for the adventure ;)

In the day Renouf (later to become Hellaby) was another in the same penny dreadfuls Dept following the 1987 crash

(over the term since, from 1c up to around $3 on takeover by the Aussies wasn't a bad reward for the ride)

1/10th cent gradients since unfortunately has removed some of the fun..

Such market induced free gifts for the taking probably exceeded any gifts the companies dished out ..

I'm assuming people on Sharesies wouldn't be eligible for these gifts, if they're still around..

I think shares are held in trust? Under Sharsies??

So probably don't filter down to their customers??

With some at about 50% being classified as small I am looking forward to their big discounts. Will make break-even on my shares even closer.
