Just read this on the herald. Again sorry its premium but for $20 a month it's cheap and actually quite good. Oak tree are looking into a possible ipo. From memory mediaworks launched on the share market in 2004 before sliding down till being brought out. Refresh my memory. I remember trying to buy $5000 of shares and apparently my money wasn't big enough to be concidered part of the ipo. So I never brought. Saved some money I guess 😁.

If TV has been sold off to Discovery then that pretty much leaves Radio which is profitable and maybe some outdoor advertising and online services. NZ used to have at least 1 listed radio network many moons ago (or was it 2?) so such a listing is not unreasonable. It may not be the same dog with fleas that was TV3 when that was listed, although given the involvement of private equity it will need to be scrutinised closely to see what we are being asked to buy.
