Overall, I find Huntleys pretty good, but they seem to miss the mark completely with some stocks.....clankers that come to mind are include luke warm recommendations on NCM, JBM, BKN & LHG....which in hindsight would have proven to be exceptional buys.

Guess you can't get it right all the time.

CMR currently at $1.73

Contrarian play, given it's been beaten down from it's highs?

The Co says they have no explanation for the price rise, and expect to make a larger loss this year cf last.

On the ASB Sec site Huntleys have a valuation of $3.65 on CMR.

This was updated 1/8/08.

SF is right, they are loyal to CMR, god knows why?

From todays presentation, it is not surprising share price dropped, Oxide plant costing $133 Mill, and NPV positive to tune of $20 Mill, don't leave much room for error, so presumably they are only running the operations to recover the costs allready sunk.

Seems just you & Huntleys like the stock...

If you want a Copper & Uranium play have a look at EQN ;)

Well they "looked" cheap at the time, but after further research they didn't meet my criteria...

EQN does however ;)

EQN looks good.

Problem with you and i, is we like too many companies for what we can afford to purchase haha. i'll buy EQN if you do hows that? ;)

I am planning on selling my CMR shares to delisted http://www.delisted.com.au/ in order to crystalise my Capital Loss.

I don't think the carrot of 5% equity in any new entity is worth hanging round for, and i am better off getting the tax savings benefits this tax year.

Any other ex CMR shareholdres out there?

Excuse my ignorance, but why can't you just sell them to family or friends, rather than paying delisted $80 for taking them off your hands ? Isn't it just a matter of filling out an off market transfer form ?

I still don't understand why things turned to custard so quickly with CMR.
