Whilest leafing through my before/after note book I made one observation that is important to me and useful enough that I wanted to point it out.
"One exception" is a misnomer
Dictionary.com:
quote:mis·no·mer ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ms-nmr)
n.
An error in naming a person or place.
Application of a wrong name.
A name wrongly or unsuitably applied to a person or an object.
Specifically the attaching of "one" to "exception".
quote:ex·cep·tion ( P ) Pronunciation Key (k-spshn)
n.
The act of excepting or the condition of being excepted; exclusion.
One that is excepted, especially a case that does not conform to a rule or generalization.
I refer of course to breaking your own rules "just this once", as the case may be. However, you are likely to find that in that moment begins a pernicious downward spiral.
[of course it applies to both traders and/or investors]
