hi there,

was wondering if there are many people trading options at the moment? if anyone is (or has in the past) do you have any advice for beginners?

i have made only a few trades in the US so far, but am looking to increase the number of trades this year and if i break even at the end of it, i will be happy.

thanks

Yes indeed. Looking pretty crook at the moment. If it stays this poorly there will be a big rush for the exits.

Morning all
Have taken a keen interest in options over the last 6 months.
Great on arising market, but no good if you think the market going to stay flat or fall.
Cash in the bank is the best option at the moment, if petrol keeps going up you will need it to fill up the tank.
Tread carefully at the moment cw2w. Cheers.

45 south.. don't forget optionality can be used when your view is that a market/stock/instrument will fall not just rise... and likewise you can make cash by selling optionality if you think the market is not going to rise above or fall below certain levels... can lose your pants if you are wrong but likewise is a great yield enhancement tool if you have an underlying position..
