ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 27 October 2005
Company Announcements Office
Australian Stock Exchange Limited
4th Floor, 20 Bridge Street
Sydney, NSW, 2000

Dear Sirs

... >> WSS CONTRACTED FOR NATIONAL CANCER RESEARCH PROJECT

Pioneering initiative to streamline access to tissue specimens
Melbourne, Victoria

– 27 October 2005: Leading Australian health systems provider, Working Systems Solutions Limited (ASX:WSS), today announced it had won a contract to develop a national tissue database to assist cancer researchers around the world.

Known as the ABN-Oncology Tissue Specimen Locator, the new system will streamline the labor intensive task of contacting individual Australian tissue banks when searching for oncology tissue specimens.
Working Systems’ e-health division, Global Health Pty Ltd, was selected to undertake the project for the Australasian Biospecimen Network (ABN), a non-profit scientific organisation which provides >>

-- a forum to address issues relating to human tissue banks in
Australia and New Zealand.

The project is targeted for completion in the first half of 2006.

Global Health will design and develop an application infrastructure that will completely automate the process of extracting relevant data from the various tissue banks.

The system will provide a consolidated view of the data and make it readily available via a web browser to researchers around the world.

Project coordinator Michelle Fleming said that at present researchers needed to contact each tissue bank separately to verify if the required specimens were available.

Depending on the workload of staff at each tissue bank, it could take up to a week for a response.

“The new tissue specimen locator will allow researchers to search a national database via the web to find out if the specimens are available, saving considerable time for both the researchers and the tissue banks,” Ms Fleming said.

“This system will be the only one of its type in Australia.”

Earlier this year Global Health completed an online breast cancer database for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.

Sites across every state in Australia and in New Zealand are now linked to provide one of the world's largest resources for investigating familial breast cancer.

Warwick Murphy, Laboratory Manager at ASCC, said cell samples are stored inside Liquid

“To keep accurate records of sample characteristics, cell line history and culture
conditions is a nightmare without an efficient database,” he said. “Currently that

information is kept in Excel spreadsheets. So it can be extremely time consuming to
collate and collect all of the information with regard to each cell. As the number of cell
samples grows, it becomes increasingly difficult.”
The cell line inventory management system being developed by Global Health will record
all of the information about each sample in a single database and will track the passage
of cell lines through quarantine and storage within the centre. When cell lines are
provided to investigators for research purposes, the ASCC will be able to produce a

Workig Systems (GLOBAL Health)

Seasons Greetings all,

More I study WSS -- ASX announcemnets, annual reports, figures, and "space in which WSS operate", (Community Health) , more I might think ..... intuitively know ??? --- .... that this WSS from these super dooper LOW, LOW, prices is at least 150% gain in 12 months, if not more .....

Even better if one were to take a 18 month view..... IMO ...

WSS shares are being, IMO, "Literally given away" at these current Margin of Safety Prices, this week before Christmas...

Even on the plain EBITA versus the Bond rate, valuations basis

Let alone..... the WSS .... Return on Capital Growth (ROE) , revenue growth, profit growth, Profit Margins (very High ) and global reach in Asia of the WSS business...

So What Robbo, is the Key to WSS Robbo, in your opinion ..... ?

Answer:

Very much, that (WSS) is right NOW; 'in transition'..... from an Research & Development (R&D) to a proprietory Technology and Intellectual Capital Company in a Growth Sector (Community On Lie Health) ---- to a Sales and Marketing Strategy Right NOW....

-You could take WSS, right out of the "Pop Corn Report" -- IMO --- in terms of being a sort of Robbo armchair Prophet and Tend forecaster, IMO....

WSS, yes, IMO, it is right in the future Big mover global Health Sector, Trend, on a Global Basis grooove .....

look at www nine months to go

and: wwww global health

and: www hot thealth etc etc..and you will get he pitiure..

Then see what (WSS) are doing in Middle East and Malayasia, Sri Lanka and South East Asia geenrally, let alone Australia ....

So have been seen popping into into the ASX Shop ... metaphorically,

To Buy some more WSS bargains .... WOW !!)
these last several days.....

WSS Working Solutions..

Personally...... do NOT think so Moonshine....

Reason: ??

(1) Coz there is a stack of Earnngs positive good stuff, in the Pipe line.

(2) And the New Year will, as suggested at the WSS, AGM -- which I went to, see those announceements, which are Earnings Positve and New Revenue expansion dito, which will Hit the News is my strong suspicion....

(3) Also the (WSS) -- already achieved EBITA now of $1.526 million

(4) on a Profit Margin of north of 14%...

(5) and a Return of Capital for WSS, already of: of: ROE (25)

(6) and earnings per share growth (EPSG) of north of 100%;

(7) IMO, make WSS too much of a preferred--- micro cap (relative to peer micro caps at these low price levels) , to bring it down to those sort of levels you speculate, IMO.... Moonhsine.

No.

Think that 14 cents five or take 1/2 a cent on the amrgins, is "about" the Bottom...

Which is why I am happy to accumulate ...... WSS .... at these levels

Kindest Regards moonshine ,

And the Style of different global Health Sector Contract Wins, that they have had....

BTW Steve, did you notice the Left Field win that WSS had; with Iluka Mines!!

.... --- apart from the Contract wins with Numerous Hospitals and Health Sector Related Institutions ..... ?!?![:p]

But the Real attraction of WSS, IMO, as to the ready and ripeness of Working Systems, (WSS), is IMO , to be found in the Clue, which is to be found, in the Global Health
Working Systems Solutions (WSS) EBITA Profit
MARGIN ..... (17+ %) -- [:p]

- For those interested look at www global health and/or www working systems solutions, and wwww hothealth.

This EBITA Profit Margin I mention, for WSS, from their last Annual Report, is even slightly above, (at the v healthy 17% level --)... what companies like Objective Corp (OCL) , Senetas (SEN) , and Emitch(EMI) were --- when they were, previously at this Stage of their Corporate Development.... ;)

Do you subscribe to Peter Strachan's Stock Analysis?

Also, on a quick final note before later this evening, did you see that a ninemsn HOST company have being using HOT HEALTH www HOTHEALTH and wwwnine months to go.com.au--- (one of WSS's divisions, on one of thier Lifestyle Regular Segments?)---

Do not tell me there will be another Internet buy out (like with HWW !!)-- of WSS by ninemsn... or Sonic Health etc, before they have matured...

Oh well, if that happens, at least we will double the Investment Price, but I'd frankly be a bit aggro, coz IMO, WSS is easilly worth 35 cents plus.... as their is so much in The Piple Line....

Some of good news,is...... I think -- ??-- , is related also to the Large Sonic Health's Ramsays, Primary Healths, Heathscope's etc etc.... and Private Health Funds 'Space' -- and some of it to the recently anounced Mental Health initiatives that Prime Minister Howard and Heaslth Minister Abbott have announced they are taking voer from the States witha multi Billion dollar Budget....

That part is related ......to maybe getting a On Surgery Site Payment System, through WSS, for Medicare directly at the point of the General Practioner, so they can cut dosn on the Duplication of going to a Medicare office....

Lots to discuss,

Gotta fly,

Article Title: “…… Mr. Patient, the Computer will see you now……”

Full Text

Doctor/Professor Larry Weed, from the United States, has spent more than three decades >> devising software << that matches a patient's symptoms and health history, against an exhaustive computerized data base of catalogue of computerised medical knowledge.
In 1969, Doctor L. Weed, changed the basics of health-care delivery with an innovation called the: "problem-oriented medical record"......

And in 1995, he won the Institute of Medicine's Gustav O. Lienhard Award for outstanding achievement in improving American health care.

"He is one of the giants of the last 500 years in medical thinking," says Doctor/Professor Don Detmer, a professor at the University of Virginia.

And he is no quack.

Professor Larry Weed has spent his career trying to inject a dose of computing into health care--in the face of fierce opposition
WHEN asked to summarise the significance of Larry Weed's work, Charles Safran, a professor at Harvard Medical School, recalls a story from medical history.

In the mid-19th century, the mortality rate from puerperal (or "childbed") fever at Vienna General Hospital's maternity ward was so high that many women, it is said, preferred to give birth in the street.

Then a doctor called Ignaz Semmelweis achieved a dramatic reduction in deaths by insisting that doctors wash their hands between autopsies and obstetrical examinations.

But other doctors refused to believe that their own hands transferred disease. Besides, they grumbled, hand-washing was far too time-consuming. Dr Semmelweis was widely ridiculed and eventually fired.

Today, Dr Weed is meeting similar opposition to his proposed reforms, which involve a far greater use of computers by doctors.

As in 19th-century Vienna, many doctors today cannot believe that their inability to retain today's vast medical knowledge in their heads is harming patients, as Dr Weed contends.

And they speculate that his notion of systematically using software to diagnose and care for patients could be, well, too time-consuming.

"He's introduced something you have to call disruptive," says Dr Safran, who is also chairman of the American Medical Informatics Association.

"It doesn't fit into the doctor's workflow."

But Dr Weed, who turns 82 this month, is the embodiment of indefatigability, devotion and determination.

He has spent more than three decades devising software that matches a patient's symptoms and health history against an exhaustive catalogue of computerised medical knowledge.

And he's no quack.

He earned his medical degree in 1947 from New York's Columbia University and did his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Professor/Dr. Weed, has taught at a string of renowned Medical Schools, including that of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1969, he changed the basics of health-care delivery with an innovation called the "problem-oriented medical record".

And in 1995, he won the Institute of Medicine's Gustav O. Lienhard Award for outstanding achievement in improving American health care.

"He is one of the giants of the last 500 years in medical thinking," says Don Detmer, a professor at the University of Virginia.

Unfortunately I was one of those who had to pay up a bit to get some today. Ergh. I'm sure 6-12 months from now it will seem like a bargain. With any luck it will fall back a bit to allow for some averaging down, but I get the impression WSS is migrating north.

WSS Global Health

As a looong term holder I am positive..
My only concern is the cash receivebles position out of some fo their creditors in Asia....

Not whether they got the money or whether they will get same...

Just whether they got it before books were closed for Half Year on December 31st.....

Have had this reflection coz of the Tsunami.... and note that some of thier clientele are in Sri Lanka.....

I am not a market timer...

But short term if you pressed me, I would PERSONALLY --- which is not advice, and stress this is only just a personal view-- be getting my money asap into NHE .....

I also note that Volumes were up on NHE today... wonder who was buying...? ;);)

Looong Term WSS will be a great little company.... and will reward investors imo that take that view....

Six Months to Six months is difficult to be totally accurate....

Certainly I would be very confident of WSS position frankly in the Full Financial Year, rather than in this Half Calendar due to the Asian issue I mentioned...

As a overall trend I personally feel that "E Health" is a no brainer, is here to stay, and will become bigger and bigger....

Global Health (WSS)-- are obviously positioning themselves in Asia and Australia for that....

As a last comment I note the intial trials and tribulations that IBA Health went through, and that they seem to be breaking through somewaht"--
Compare the MarketCaps between the two and you will see why I like the looong term value also in WSS, and that said, you might also notice that I avhe been a stroing supporter of IBA Health (IBA) this last 6 months... (see IBA Health thread started by Kiwi) on ASX section of this web site)--

Let's get this straight guys.

On 28 November, not two months ago and with five months of the first half completed, WSS stated it aimed to make $2.8m this year. Now they report "flat Australian sales and slippage of overseas work". I mean, what? For their own job security, management better forecast a much improved second half. I imagine the profit figure will be somewhat better than the cashflows due to WSS' capitalisation and amoritzation policies (and perhaps a chance to sell out?). At current prices WSS does not look like a good sell.

In the bottom draw you go, WSS. [B)]

If they have contracts where they are paid on completion, rather than with progress payments, then they will be very vulnerable - they seem too small to have many clients on the go at once.

They seem to have enough cash for now though.

PS: some in my bottom drawer also :(

One seller of 50,000 shares who gave up waiting for a better price... hardly enough to get excited about. Seeing as sellers are still sitting at 13cps, there isn't exactly alot of chance to average down...

Not much liquidity in this stock and a big spread. No point buying or selling until the story becomes a little clearer.

Looks like some (slight ) good news today...someone with a bit of business nous finally appointed to the WSS board...seems like a bit of a deal maker with some good IT health connections....hopefully the fact that he has taken a big hit on his investment of 5 mil shares has encouraged him to become more pro-active....

WSS

Yeah saw that one Steve...;)

Personal view is tht WSS needs to get some Sales and Marketing....
Channels and Marketing Paradigm change Focus-- into their Culture and Company DNA AND real super fast...

-Would like to see them appoint a Super High Energy and Strategically brilliant Marketing/Sales Director/Executive Business Development Channel Manger -- for Sales.....

Have personally gotten the CEO onto the ophone personally..... and told him in no uncertain terms three times now..... that he will miss the Momentum, if he does not Make this Critical Step and necessary Transition.....

Also imo WSS needs a "Hero Software Application"-- Brand leader--- that gets put into say five 5 to seven (7)-- seperate Major Clients .....and gets some Critical Momentum ---

So all in all--- I would say the next 12 months are totally Critical for WSS now......

WSS either NOW..... get off their **** and make something of themselves like IBA Health (IBA) , OCL, OKN, MLB,EMI, MYO, SEN, etc -- or they Die on the Vine like the TST's, BQT's and ICE's of this world .....

It is now Up to Them ..... to pull their fingers out....

Really now hard to say, "whether they can.... Step Up To The Plate-----and ... therefore which way they will go....

..... but time for WSS excuses is NOW over.

And is now time for no Bull.Sh*&^t. [}:)][}:)] Genuine consistent and Significant and no fudging and getting the Sales Results ---

WSS --we need "Runs on the Board"-- your time is nigh...

Regards,

Robbo:)

Got out of this one a few days ago to fund BKA & DNS.

Biggest whack I've taken in a while [B)]. Good luck to those who hold.

Anyone think there is a case against the directors for misleading investors at the AGM?

not even a hint of positivity in the announcement....in fact this is a total worse case scenario....took the hit and sold the balance of my few remaining today.....can only see this going one way now....(voluntary administration???)

Robbo...saw your thoughts re BRO...hope you got out of this as well!!!

Bizarre days trading....up 46% - to pre announcement levels...

well bid up all day, with no forced selling, plus on the bell buying

depth looks stronger than it did pre announcement...

strange indeed...i thought the annoucement was an absolute disaster

Yes, I noticed that too. Very odd. I got out of these a while back - they were way too quiet for my liking. I'd be amazed if they turn it around.

THe old friday evening before a long weekend trick to hide an absolutely disgraceful profit (or loss) update...a $3 million loss compared to a previously inferred $2 -$3 mill profit

Deceased chairman Geoff Hartigan, (ex chairman of chartered accountants ) will be turning in his grave...

an absolute disgrace of a performance

"The growth in sales has resulted in the Company
achieving a profitable quarter for the first time since June 2005.

The Company’s March quarter is
traditionally weak so this result and the continuing strength of the sales and closure rates will see the Company achieve its target of a profitable second half to June 2007"

Thorney/Pratt on board now.

Potentially big gains here once the trnaround is confirmed.

Now called Global Health Limited (GLH)

Thorney/Pratt underwrote the recent cap raising.

At 3c the Market cap = $7mil.

GLHO (XP of 1.7c, expire 31/12/10) currently trading at 0.6c which is a 0.7c discount to their implied price.

GLH continue to be a real disappointment.

Cashflow report released today indicates another quarter of negative operations, and, despite the raising last year, another one will be required soon.

Good, respected products with good take up, but can't seem to generate the scale to generate sufficient profitability - same story as the last 4 years.

Hold GLHO

And a few years, many capital raisings and a share consolidation later:

"03 July 2013: Global Health (ASX:GLH) today wish to advise the market that subject to audit, the Company expects to report a Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) of approximately $1 million for thefinancial year ended 30 June 2013.
This will be between $400,000 and $600,000 better than forecast at the Company’s AnnualGeneral Meeting in November 2012. It will represent earnings per share (EPS) of between 3cand 4c. "

Excellent space to be in, once they get the model/ service delivery right - is this the turnaround year?

Share price is up 350% since this news.

Still on a p/e of 4,
