Hi guys
I found this gem of a stock the other day. This is a small company with huge potential. A brief explanation of what it does is below. What drew me to it is that it has announced a profit upgrade. The company is growing and is manufacturing in china to cut costs. It made a profit for this year and the quarters cashflows are positive. Expected profit this year is over 2 million. There are 202098322 shares on issue, so at 10 cents a share, the market cpitalization is about 20.2 million, which means it is on about 10% return - too cheap for a growing firm. The balance sheet looks good and it has low debt. Sales were 23.4 million- see what you can find on this company

Nice move by MPI today. Maybe the sellers have finally been flushed out.

For all those interested in MPI read today's (16/11/06) ASX announcements. This appears to be a company that after a few years hibernation has finally got its act together. Market Cap only around $25mill and in the gaming industry supply business. I brought in at 6 cents and am looking for further profits in the next 12 months.

What a day for this company - up to 17 cents ... a nice 70% gain over 2 weeks.

Disappointing announcement today but the company still has a bright future. Loss of HKJC sales to result in approx reduction in NPAT for year to 2 million (it would appear at worse case scenario). Not bad for a company that @10cents has a market cap of around $21million. I still think China will provide a lot of value in the near future and the HKJC will result in gradual decline.

A bit of a sad day as MPI (now TMA) delisted today.

The reasons for delisting are quite interesting for those who are invested in micro-cap industrials.

The reasons include:

-Low levels of liquidity

- Shareholder disinterest (during the last two (2) years, the Company has only received inquiries from five (5) Shareholders about the commercial activities of the Company.)

-TMA competes against many private companies who do not have to disclose similar levels of financial information

-The Directors’ believe other private companies have a preference for doing business with other private companies

-Cost of maintaining listing

Now some of these reasons are a bit questionable, (and there may be ulterior motives for delisting) however, there is no question that the ASX is currently failing these microcap industrials, who are being priced at lower levels than their private company comparables. It is questionable whether these micro-caps get any where near the value in return for their listing and ASX compliance costs.
