Does anyone have anything to do with this?

www.sharemart.co.nz

It's run by Computershare, looks to me like it's had its day in the sun already. Of the companies listed on the quote table, one of them also trades on the unlisted market (RPT/NZRPT), one appears to be only available for kiwifruit growers?? (ZGL), and I've got next to no info on the other 3.

I've put this together so far, will try track down info for the others too:

Any thoughts?

Never heard of them Z but it says there 1994 and 40 companies so it must be on the decline. Some recent trades though.

St Johns is 58% owned by SLPF which contributed 48 million to their asset growth. There are a few clues in the 2007 SLPF annual report and announcements. http://www.stlaurence.co.nz/pdfs/1401.pdf
including they own:
St John Balanced
Property Fund Limited
166-175 Queens Street Auckland 58.60% Retail 16.991 $M book value 1.451 $M annual rental 2.630 yrs lease

The AGRI Private Capital Fund i mentioned below intends to use sharemart as the means of buying and selling this fund - as they don't intend listing on the NZX.

Had some experience in unlisted funds (forestry projects) and selling them via a similar facility but it requires patience and luck in getting a fair price. For me not so bad but took a while.

I'd forgotten Sharemart even existed. If I remember rightly one of the NBR columnists enjoyed picking on them a bit in the mid 90s.

It seems Sharemart still exists. Dug them up when having a quick look at Syft who were featured in the NZ Investor Magazine.

They seem more obscure than Unlisted but on the face of it easier to trade (though less liquidity).
