traders some nice swings to trade ..... :)

Trading Halt placed yesterday, one to watch as annoucement due Mon/tues next week on NWZ 2.

NWZ 2 workover successful: Hydrocarbons present at
Jurassic XIII.

Highlights:

 NWZ 2 workover complete, hydrocarbons have been confirmed at the
Jurassic XIII and oil samples gathered.

 Production logging indicates an expected flow rate from the well at ~
400 to 500 bopd when in full production.

 Workover has confirmed the prospectivity of Block 31 and gives positive
impetus for the drilling of the SV Akkar well.

 SV Akkar turnkey drilling tender has closed and a successful contractor
is expected to be announced within a week.

 SV Akkar well scheduled to spud in December 2009.
 JPR is set to move from explorer to producer in 1H 2010.

The recent Share issue at 2c kept the price low as they sold out, should they have keeped them they could be looking at a easy 10 bagger next year, may look at buying tomorrow, this company has alot to offer!!

AGM on Monday so should get a better understanding then. They intended to test this well and store on site, but now I think since the spud of SV Akka isnt that far away they will test both wells at the same time, piping the oil from NWZ 2 to SV Akka.

Good buying at present should profit taking carry on.

The decision to test both wells at the same time is a good cost saving move .... though it didn't help the sp in the short term.:eek:

I hold the JPROA options. I'm looking at taking a profit at the end May (or at the end of April if the heads are not in the Money). I might convert some of these into the heads if the SP holds up. Can someone tell me if there is a booking or conversion fee (as in right issues). Thanks in advance for any replies.

JUPITER CONTINUES CORING MIDDLE TRIASSIC IN J‐50 OIL
DISCOVERY WELL
 J‐50 has reached 3030m and continues cutting core in reservoir.
 Currently running in hole to cut final core (#6) at 3030m.
 91m of Middle Triassic reservoir section has now been intersected.
 J‐50 well is on prognosis to intersect 120m of reservoir.
 Initial flow rates from J‐50 are expected to be available during April.
Operations on the J‐50 well have continued with acquisition of a total of 45.3m of
conventional core in the Middle Triassic reservoir. Cores #3, #4 and #5 have been
recently acquired from interval 3012m to 3030mRT and 100% has been recovered from
each core. Hydrocarbon shows and gas returns have been observed continuously during
coring. Field reports positively confirm the presence of mobile hydrocarbon in the
Middle Triassic reservoir which is the primary target of the J‐50 well.
The J‐50 well intersected the top of the reservoir at 2939mRT and a total of 91m of
Middle Triassic reservoir has been intersected to date. The reservoir is prognosed to be
120m thick and the view of the Directors is that the full reservoir section will be
intersected.
At 1200 hours on 5th April, 2010, the current operation on the J‐50 well was running in
with a 9m core barrel for core #6.
The future activity plan is summarised as follows:
 Cut 1 additional 9m core (core #6 is extra to original plan) (2 days)
 Drill to total depth (~3250mRT)
 Run extensive electric wireline logging suites across the zones of interest.
 Run and cement production casing.
 Run completion and clean up well.
 Release rig and commence 90 day production test.
Based on the current schedule, the Company expects to achieve initial flow rates from
the J‐50 well during April.
Shareholders will continue to be updated via weekly drilling updates as well as
additional information as coring and evaluation of the reservoir section continues.

now ceased and drilling activities have resumed.
The J‐50 well intersected the top of the reservoir at 2939mRT and a total of 120m of Middle
Triassic reservoir section has been intersected to date.
At 1200 hours on 8th April, 2010, the current operation on the J‐50 well was drilling ahead in
Middle Triassic limestones and claystones at 3059m.

Jupiter Energy moves towards completing J-50 oil well

"Jupiter Energy (ASX: JPR) has updated shareholders on the future activities for the J-50 well and in particular the key milestones that will be met to ensure the end of drilling operations on J-50 by the end of April 2010.

The well is located on Block 31 – which covers 127 square kilometres - in the Mangistau Basin in south-western Kazakhstan.

After the well is completed and initial flow rates from the well clean up are available, the company will begin production testing and work towards being granted a trial production licence.

It is planned that a Trial Production Licence will be granted during July-August 2010.

After a Trial Production licence has been issued, oil produced from J-50 can be sold into the export market.

Until this time, oil produced during the J-50 production testing phase will be sold into the domestic market.

The J-50 well is expected to reach a planned Total Depth (TD) of 3180mRT by Friday 16 April.

Wireline logs will be run over the weekend of April 17/18 to confirm the net pay of the Middle Triassic reservoir. The company said it will announce the logging results during the week beginning April 20.

Production casing will then be run and cemented later the same week and completion and perforation operations will follow in late April. Flow rates from the well clean up will be available shortly thereafter and the Company will advise the market of these initial rates at that time.

The company said it is also rapidly progressing with its plans to acquire additional acreage and expects to advise on progress within the next week.

Jupiter Energy has recently completed relinquishment of approximately 65 square kilometres of the Block 31 permit that was deemed to be not prospective. The relinquishment has been formally accepted and as a result JPR is now able to seek approval for assignment of new acreage and this process is well underway."

I think this licence just allows JPR to sell into the Export Market. I believe the production trial begins at the end of the month and we should see some solid results (either way) during May and June. I was hoping for a 4 bagger for the options but would be more then happy with a 100% return.

Your right didnt read the ann properly! Trading Halt late in the day! 4 bagger would be nice and is actually more were my sell point is, but just dont want to get to excited untill we see actaully figures/flow rates etc

No I'm not buying anymore as I have eneough oppies for my risk/reward ratio. Will look at converting about 10% of my oppies into heads however. Really weird trading the last couple of days.

How did you fair over the last week? and any other holders.

Im in a worst position that when I bought in September 09 and that was before 2 successful drills, and now the transition to producer... and I'm now negative :( One lucky thing is that I didnt top up at 7c, although my oppies I bought at 1.1c are now down a lovely -81.82% :)

Having to bank on GGE to take off next week to cover any of my losses and then I will dump JPR/JPROA by the end of the month.

Anyone else looking at JPR at the moment? Not sure I want to buy atm given current market conditions, but it's beginning to look quite interesting based on the reserves and current market cap...

-Market cap of ~$33m @ 4.3c
-Block 31 2P reserves of 8.6mmbbls
-Flow rate looks like it will be somewhere between the announced 220bopd rate on a 10mm choke and the initial flow of 750bopd. Perhaps ~400-500bopd.
-nwz-2 drilled and waiting to be tested.
-not much cash left after the current drilling.

First really positive news in a while, I think investors are still scared of this stock after the crash after there drill announcement. Holding.

These guys need to explain what they are trying to do . Must set goals and achieve them . More progress on the ground is required or punters will desert the stock , and not return . Maybe that is what they want ???

Obviously , much more money is required ..... so CR in times to come . Maybe a farm-down 50% is required ~!
