Could be a blood bath today, with the Horse Flue getting worse by the minute all betting (Gee-Gee) shares are in for a pounding for how long 6 months!!!

Yes, I suffer because I bought TAH on Friday. Going ex-dividend tomorrow as well so blood bath is right.

Bookies sniffle when horses sneeze. Great line.

Thought I would give this old dog a leg up. I think there is value here. Good report and off it's lows.

Just a heads up h2so4 - TAH is already priced in for their pokies license that is due to expire in 2012 and will not be renewed by the VIC government. The same fate apply to TTS. Hence, their cheap SP and strong div yield. Nevertheless, I suspect Mr Packer and friends might be circling TAH casino businesses for some time now and can pounce at any time.

What are some thoughts on TAH now, following the split into TAH (the existing part) and Echo, the entertainment arm? I was just considering it as an alternative to SKC, but have yet to look into it very deeply.
